A heads-up display device includes a display unit which outputs a 3D image and at least one holographic optical element which is attached to a windshield of the vehicle to diffract and reflect the 3D image output from the display unit so that a reflection efficiency of the 3D image may be improved while minimizing a module volume.

Apparatus for displaying a hologram

Provided is a hologram display apparatus according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention. The hologram display apparatus includes: a detector configured to detect a position of a viewer; and a spatial light modulation panel that modulates a light to display a hologram. Further, a grade is determined on the basis of the detected position of the viewer. An optical path switching unit refracts the light from the spatial light modulation panel with the determined grade. A laser source of the hologram display apparatus generates the light with a compensated output on the basis of the grade.

Hologram display apparatus and method for controlling the same

A stereoscopic image display and a driving method thereof are discussed. The stereoscopic image display includes a data driving circuit that supplies a data voltage to data lines of a display panel; a gate driving circuit that supplies a gate pulse to gate lines of the display panel; and a timing controller that controls operation timings of the data driving circuit and gate driving circuit. The gate driving circuit delays a rising timing of the gate pulse to a point in time after a rising edge time of the data voltage in a 3D mode for displaying a 3D image on the display panel, under a control of the timing controller.

The present disclosure suggests an apparatus for displaying hologram images comprising: a display panel displaying a hologram image; a back light unit disposed at one side of the display panel for supplying a back light; a first light path deflecting cell disposed at another side of the display panel facing away from the back light unit for forming a first prism pattern along a first direction rotating by a predetermined angle from a horizontal axis of the display panel; and a second light path deflecting cell disposed in front of the first light path deflecting cell for forming a second prism pattern along a second direction perpendicular to the first direction.
