A hand blender containing a blade arrangement for a domestic appliance for cutting and comminuting food containing a rotatable blade with a hub which lies at a center of rotation of the blade for receiving a shaft. The blade includes at least one cutter which extends radially and which has a cutting edge that lies on a front side in the rotational direction and defines a circular cutting zone when circulating. The blade also includes a milling rib which protrudes upwards from the blade in an axial direction and is oriented so as to produce a milling effect when circulating and defines a corresponding milling zone that extends from the hub to the cutting zone of the cutter.

An implement for stirring or comminuting, containing a drive motor arranged in a motor housing, a stem, in which a shaft connected to the drive motor in a rotationally rigid manner is mounted, and which is divided into an inner and an outer assembly, wherein the outer assembly has a shield at an end remote from the motor housing, and a working part surrounded by the shield, wherein the shaft is guided in an axially immovable manner in the inner assembly and the inner assembly is axially movable relative to the outer assembly. The invention is directed to a shaving foil for a shaving system of a shaving apparatus, in which the shaving foil cooperates with an undercutter adapted to be driven relative to the shaving foil. The shaving foil includes a perforate region comprised of a plurality of hair-receiving apertures, wherein said apertures form a quasi-periodic pattern executed in accordance with a Penrose parquet.

A display means serves the function of indicating the charge status of the battery, and a time measurement means determines the connection time of the load to the battery. The invention is directed to an exchangeable frame for the shaving head of a dry shaving apparatus, comprising two longitudinal frame members in parallel arrangement and end walls connecting the longitudinal frame members at their respective ends, as well as at least one shaving foil which is carried on inwardly protruding projections provided on the two longitudinal frame members by means of suspension openings and is shaped to an arched twin head shaving foil cutter by means of another longitudinal frame member extending parallel to the two longitudinal frame members and connecting the end walls. A stepped shoulder formed on the projections provides at least one abutment surface and a pin, and the abutment surface is at a predetermined relative distance to the inner wall of the shaving foil slidably resting against the longitudinal frame members. The suspension openings are greater in vertical and horizontal direction than the contours of the projections. Each of the two longitudinal frame members has associated to it a mounting plate extending parallel thereto with openings for receiving the pins, with the mounting plate resting against the abutment surfaces and being attached to the pins. The respective mounting plate protrudes in horizontal direction beyond the boundaries of the suspension openings of the shaving foil.

The invention is directed to a dry shaving apparatus with a short-hair cutter, a manually operated first switch slide slidably arranged on the housing for turning on and off the associated second switch slide carrying a long-hair trimmer which is adapted to be moved from a position of rest into an operating position lying in the area of the short-hair cutter by means of the second switch slide as well as two interengageable gear arrangements and which in the operating position is coupled to the drive of the dry shaving apparatus.

The invention is directed to an electric shaving apparatus having a shaving head pivotable about a pivot axis Z and a control means for the shaving head by means of which the extent of pivot movement of the shaving head is limited within a predetermined pivot area and also by means of which the shaving head is pivotable from any pivot position to a locked position.

The rotary electrical switch 1 which is mounted on a circuit plate 7 furnished with a printed circuit comprises a switch wheel 4 which is rotatably supported on the circuit plate 7 and whereat a contact bridge 48 is inserted into a pocket 46. On rotation of the rotary switch 1, said contact bridge 48 connects and/or disconnects at least two conducting paths of the printed circuit. Shaped at the switch wheel 4 is a pivot pin 17 which penetrates the circuit plate 7 and which is secured by a base member 5 to the circuit plate 7 on the said's bottom side opposite to the printed circuit. The switch wheel 4 includes catch-type recesses 42, with a resilient switching element 32 engaging into each one recess depending on the position of rotation of the switch wheel 4. The base member 5 urges via the switch wheel 4 the contact lugs 48 resiliently against the circuit plate 7, additionally forms the catch-type element 40 and simultaneously couples the switch wheel 4 and the circuit plate 7.
