A sealing element for sealing a shaft comprises a stiffening part, a first elastomer part connected to the stiffening part and adapted to adjoin the housing part and provide a static seal relative, and a second elastomer part of an elastomer material different from the elastomer material forming the first elastomer part. The second elastomer part is connected to the stiffening part and comprises a sealing section adapted to adjoin the shaft to seal a space. The sealing section comprises a return structure for returning a leaking fluid to a space to be sealed. The sealing section also comprises a region at one axial end portion of the sealing section which is peripherally closed in itself and extends along an inner surface of a circular cylinder portion of the sealing section that is adapted to adjoin and seal the shaft as the shaft is not turning.

Frictionless shaft seal

A valve stem seal for an internal combustion engine includes a seal body having a gas seal assembly spaced from an oil seal assembly in the axial direction of the valve stem seal. The gas seal assembly includes a first gas lip and a second gas lip disposed between the oil seal assembly and the first gas lip.

Valve stem seal

A piston rod seal includes a sealing disk provided with a reinforcement element, a guide mechanism, and a support piece which are adapted to be placed consecutively in a metal pipe or similar object functioning as a housing, and which are adapted to surround a piston rod when installed. To create a seal having relatively few components and a relatively small axial dimension, the reinforcement element is connected to the sealing disk and is constructed to function as a guide element for guiding the axial movement of the piston rod.

Piston rod seal

A seal for being mounted on a reciprocating machine part to seal the machine part includes a sealing element made of elastomer material. The sealing element has a sealing lip defined by two surfaces that intersect at a sealing edge for resting in a sealing manner against the outer surface of the machine part. One of the two surfaces includes a first section and a second section. The first section is inclined at a first angle of inclination with respect to the central axis of the sealing element while the second section is inclined at a second angle of inclination with respect to the central axis of the sealing element, and with the first and second angles of inclination being different from one another.
