An induction heating arrangement () including four coils of a smaller diameter () and a coil having a larger diameter () is provided. The coils are arranged on a first plane () and on a second plane (). In order to adapt a cooking area () to the size of a pot, either the larger coil () or one or more of the smaller coils () are operated. A power supply circuitry () is shared between the coils of the two planes. A selector () disconnects a respective coil of the plane of coils that is not operated in order to avoid coupling, interference and loss of energy. Guiding elements of the magnetic flux () confine the magnetic field in the area of the pot. A method of operating the induction heating arrangement is also provided.

A control unit () for a cooking hob has at least one viewing window (). The control unit () is attached or attachable below the viewing window () and has a plurality of control elements () operable from a top side of the control unit (). At least one display () is arranged on the top side of the control unit (). A control panel () forms an unmovable part of the control unit. A number of elastic elements () are for resiliently supporting the display () on the control unit (). The control unit () has a display frame () for at least partially enclosing the display (). The display frame () includes a sealing lip () on its upper side and the elastic elements () at its lower side. A cooking hob has at least one control unit ().

The invention conceives an induction heating arrangement () comprising four coils of a smaller diameter () and a coil having a larger diameter (). The coils are arranged on a first plane () and on a second plane (). In order to adapt a cooking area () to the size of a pot, either the larger coil () or one or more of the smaller coils () are operated. A power supply circuitry () is shared between the coils of the two planes and a selector () takes care of disconnecting a respective coil of the plane of coils that is not operated in order to avoid coupling and interference and loss of energy. The guiding elements of the magnetic flux () are used to confine the magnetic field in the area of the pot. The method of operating the induction heating arrangement takes care of efficient energy use, and an induction hob () includes the induction heating arrangement.

The present invention relates to a cooking hob () with at least two one-piece fastening elements () arranged at outer portions of the cooking hob (). The fastening element () comprises a first portion () being permanently connected or connectable to an upper part () of the cooking hob (). The fastening element () comprises a second portion () being detachably connected or connectable to a lower part () of the cooking hob (), so that the upper part () and the lower part () form the cooking hob (). The second portion () of the fastening element () comprises at least one spring element () at a sidewall of the cooking hob () in order to clamp the cooking hob () within a cutout () enclosing circumferentially the cooking hob (). At least two fastening elements () are arranged at opposite sidewalls of the cooking hob (). Further, the present invention relates to a one-piece fastening element.

A grill and/or frying plate for use on an induction cooking hob, including at least one grill section and at least one section different from the grill section, in particular a frame section or a warming section. When the grill and/or frying plate is mounted to the cooking hob, the at least one grill section is at least partially arranged directly above at least one heating element of the cooking hob and that the at least one section different from the grill section is at least partially arranged in a position where no heating element is arranged below. A recess and/or a securing recess and/or a fixation groove are arranged in a region that delimits the grill section from the section different from the grill section, in such a way that the heat transfer from the grill section to the section different from the grill section is reduced.

Grill and/or frying plate for the use on cooking hobs

The present invention relates to an induction cooking hob including at least one induction coil (). The induction cooking hob comprises a housing () with at least one vertical wall () and a bottom panel (). A top panel is provided for covering the top side of the housing (). The induction coil () is connected or connectable to the at least one vertical wall () by at least one fixing element (). A rigid conjunction is provided between the vertical wall () and at least one the fixing element (). The induction coil () and the at least one fixing element () form a rigid body, so that the induction coil () is supported by the vertical wall (). Further, the present invention relates to an induction coil () provided for said induction cooking hob.

The invention relates to a household appliance (), in particular a kitchen range with at least one control and/or display circuit board () that is set in an appropriate mounting recess (), said control and/or display board (), when installed, being tightly pressed against another component () (specifically against the bottom surface of a glass-ceramic stovetop or of a control panel. To ensure good tolerance compensation in cost-effective fashion and, thus, secure pressure contact between the control and display board and the said other component, the invention proposes the placement of the control and/or display board () in a socket () in the mounting recess (), which socket () is provided with several spring elements () so configured and arranged as to press against the control and/or display board () on its side facing away from the said other component ().
