A method of delivering safe, suitable, and repeatable dosages to a subject for topical, oral, nasal, or pulmonary use and a device for droplet ejection includes a fluid delivery system capable of delivering a defined volume of the fluid in the form of droplets having properties that afford adequate and repeatable high percentage deposition upon application. The method and device include a housing, a reservoir disposed within the housing for receiving a volume of fluid, an ejector mechanism configured to eject a stream of droplets having an average ejected droplet diameter greater than 15 microns, the stream of droplets having low entrained airflow such that the stream of droplets deposit on the eye of the subject during use.

The disclosure relates to medical databases, remote monitoring, diagnosis and treatment systems and methods. In one particular embodiment, a system for remote monitoring, diagnosis, or treatment of eye conditions, disorders and diseases is provided. This method generally includes administering a stream of droplets to the eye of a subject from an ejector device, and storing data related to the administration in a memory of the ejector device. The data may then be monitored and analyzed.

A liquid dispenser comprises a container for supporting liquid, and has a dispensing end with an opening. A reservoir is located in the container and is connected to the opening, and a structure is provided for channeling liquid into the reservoir. Liquid is propelled from the dispenser by squeezing resiliently depressable portions of the dispenser. The reservoir may take the form of a bowl-like structure or may retain liquid by cohesive and adhesive forces. The dispenser may also include a nozzle and a rest for resting the dispenser against a suitable surface when squeezing the dispenser.
