A housing body () is designed in order to be mounted at least in regions in a mounting opening of an outer skin or outer body component () of a motor vehicle, and has an outer flange region (), which surrounds the housing body () at least in regions and defines the outer geometry of the housing body at least in regions, the flange region having a multi-dimensional shape and being designed in order to rest against a support surface of the outer skin or outer body component () in the installed state of the housing body. The shape of the outer flange region () is designed such that the housing body () is mountable, as needed, in a mounting opening, mirrored relative to the motor vehicle longitudinal axis, in a left- or right-sided outer skin or outer body component, by moving the housing body from left to right.

A tank flap or charging flap arrangement for a vehicle, including a housing which can be inserted into a mounting opening in the vehicle and has at least one connection part for the refueling or electrical charging of the vehicle, furthermore including a flap arranged on a hinge arm of the tank flap or charging flap arrangement, the hinge arm mounted on the housing so as to be pivotable about a first pivot axis, wherein the flap is mounted on the hinge arm so as to be pivotable about a second pivot axis, and therefore the flap can be pivoted between a closed position, in which the flap closes the housing, and a first opening position, in which the flap opens up access to the at least one connection part for refueling or electrical charging, and a second opening position, which is opened further than the first opening position.

Tank flap or charging flap arrangement for a vehicle

An automobile fuel-tank tube comprising a tube body made of a first plastic and fitted at one end with means for its affixation to an automobile body opening, further comprising a base integrally shaped with said tube body and made of a second plastic softer than the first and including an aperture to receive in sealing manner a comparatively hard filling pipe, a reinforcing section being integrated into the base and also consists of the first plastic and counteracts radial and/or circumferential deformation of said base.
