Compact fluorescent lamp

The elongate bulb () of the lamp, which defines a longitudinal axis (A), is closed at opposite ends by sealing parts (), with in each case one cap being fitted at one end, the cap having an electrical contact element () which is connected in an electrically conductive manner to a supply conductor () leading to a luminous means, the contact element being accommodated in a tubular extension () of the sealing part; the contact element () has an attachment part () which is directed inward toward the lamp interior and is equipped with at least two barbs () which are in contact with the tubular extension ().

The elongate inner bulb () defines a longitudinal axis (A) and is sealed at mutually opposing ends by sealing parts (), an outer bulb being placed, with an adjoining tube piece, over the inner bulb and being fixed to the sealing part by means of an annular beading formed there, the end of the tube piece being radially attached to the beading, the maximum inner diameter of the beading being larger than the outer diameter of the sealing part in the region of the beading.

Discharge lamp

The elongate bulb () of the lamp, which defines a longitudinal axis (A), is sealed at mutually opposing ends by sealing parts (), to which an outer bulb is fixed, the ratio between the total length of the outer bulb LAKO and the inner length of the inner volume LEG being between 1.3 and 4, preferably 1.5 and 3.

The bulb of the lamp is closed at opposite ends by sealing parts (), with in each case one cap () being fitted at one end, the cap having an electrical contact element () which is connected in an electrically conductive manner to a supply conductor () leading to a luminous means, the contact element being accommodated in a tubular extension () of the sealing part. The cap part () has an adjustment part (), which is directed inward with respect to the interior of the lamp and is in contact with the sleeve () via a bracket.

An electric lamp has a discharge vessel which is sealed in a vacuum-tight manner and is made from glass, the discharge vessel being surrounded in particular by an envelope part, the discharge vessel being essentially cylindrical, and defining a longitudinal axis L, and containing two electrodes at a predetermined distance from one another as well as a filling, an electrically insulated insert part also being fitted in the discharge vessel over a central part of the axial length. The electrically insulated insert part extends at least over the distance between the electrodes EA, it is fitted in the discharge vessel without the use of a retaining device, and it surrounds the electrodes in essentially tubular fashion such that it is spaced apart from them.

The lamp comprises a discharge vessel () which is closed off in a vacuum-tight manner and is arranged in an outer bulb (), a getter material being held on a support body inside the outer bulb (). The support body is a support strip () to which the getter material is applied, the support strip being bent in such a way that it is automatically held in the outer bulb () without the need for any auxiliary means.

The process comprises the provision of a discharge vessel () which is closed off on one side, fitting a second tube over part of the discharge vessel and evacuating and filling the volume of the outer bulb via a pumping hole, which remains open in the second extension part within the second tube. This pumping hole is only closed at the end by means of an operation which closes it by rolling.

Process for producing an electric lamp with outer bulb

To provide a universally usable free-piston device with electric linear drive, comprising at least one piston receptacle with at least one piston device arranged for linear displacement in the piston receptacle, the piston device comprising a traveller device, and a stator device being arranged on the piston receptacle, and the at least one piston device being drivable under the action of a medium which expands in an expansion space, it is proposed that the piston stroke be variably adjustable via the linear drive such that the dead centers of the displacement of the piston device are definable.
