A flow rack unit for providing stock material units includes at least two rack bays and one control system. Each rack bay has a removal side and a storage side opposite the removal side and is configured to provide the stock material units in a respective bay level arranged next to one another starting in the direction of the storage side. A respective sensor arrangement of the control system is associated with each rack bay. Each sensor arrangement is arranged at the storage side of the associated rack bay and connected to a control unit of the control system via a common data line. The sensor arrangements each include an occupancy sensor configured as a distance sensor. Each occupancy sensor has a measurement zone that is aligned to measure a distance from a rearmost stock material unit stored in the associated rack bay and disposed closest to the occupancy sensor.

A light grid and a method using a light grid include a transmission unit having a plurality of light transmitters for transmitting light beams and a reception unit having a plurality of light receivers for receiving the light beams of the light transmitters. The transmission unit and the reception unit are spaced apart from one another and are disposed opposite one another. A monitored field is formed by oppositely disposed light transmitters and light receivers for detecting objects. The light transmitters are activated one after the other in cycles and the light receivers are evaluated in these cycles. A programmable evaluation unit is provided for evaluating the received signals of the light receivers of a cycle with reference to predefined beam evaluation criteria and forming an intermediate result therefrom. The evaluation unit evaluates at least one intermediate result of a cycle with reference to at least one predefined sequential criterion.

The invention relates to an optoelectronic sensor, in particular to a light grid (), having at least two circuit boards (-) which are to be arranged one after the other in a longitudinal direction (, z direction) and on which a plurality of light transmitters () and/or light receivers () are arranged in series, wherein the circuit boards (--) are fixed in a desired position with respect to one another by a functional element () and wherein the circuit boards (--) are held in a housing (). It is proposed to provide an improved optoelectronic sensor, in particular a light grid, that the housing () is configured as a section and the circuit boards (--) are held via the functional elements () in oppositely disposed grooves () of the section () which extend in the longitudinal direction (, z direction) so that the functional elements () position the circuit boards (--) in a fixed position perpendicular (in the x-y plane) to the longitudinal direction (, z direction).

Light grid and method of monitoring a monitored zone

A light grid () with a transmission unit () comprising a plurality of individual light transmitters () and a transmitter control () for activating the individual light transmitters (), and with a reception unit () comprising a plurality of individual light receivers () corresponding to the individual light transmitters () and comprising an evaluation unit () connected to the individual light receivers () is provided, wherein the evaluation unit () is configured to detect an interruption of a light beam () from an individual light transmitter () to a corresponding individual light receiver () and to be optically synchronized with the transmitter control () by means of the light beams (). An optoelectronic sensor () is provided with a plurality of light transmitters () and light receivers () that form between one another a field () of mutually parallel monitoring beams (), wherein beam shaping optics () are assigned to the light transmitters () and the light receivers (). The optics () comprise a geometry and arrangement leading to a mutual overlap of the optics () in a direction diagonal, in particular perpendicular, to the field ().

A method for operating an optical light sensor for the detection of objects present in the monitored region in which light signals are transmitted into the monitored region in specific time intervals. The transmitted light signals and also the interference signals which occur are received and are evaluated for the detection of objects present in the monitored region, with the transmission reception of the light signals, and also the reception of the interference signals, respectively taking place in time sequential frame intervals. In the absence of an interference signal within a frame interval the transmission of the light signal takes place at the end of the frame interval defining a normed transmission timepoint for the respective light signal. On the occurrence of an interference signal within a frame interval the transmission of the next light signal is delayed timewise relative to its normed transmission timepoint.
