The present invention relates to a window glass for a vehicle, attached to a body flange of the vehicle at a circumferential edge portion thereof, including: an infrared ray shielding portion which reflects or absorbs infrared rays on a large part of the window; and electromagnetic wave transmitting portions having a substantially rectangular shape, which transmit at least a predetermined electromagnetic wave, at each of lower end portions on both sides in a width direction of the vehicle.

A voltage conversion device includes: first and second loop circuits having a common inductance element. Electric current alternately flows through the first or second loop circuit as a first switching element of the first loop circuit is turned on or off. A magnetic field that is formed when the first switching element is turned on and that penetrates through the first loop circuit and a magnetic field that is formed when the first switching element is turned off after it is turned on and that penetrates through the second loop circuit have the same direction. All elements that constitute the first and second loop circuits are arranged on the same surface of a substrate. The second loop circuit is connected to a second direct-current power source. The first loop circuit is connected to a first direct-current power source.

Voltage conversion device and electrical load driving device

A door handle device for a vehicle is arranged in a door thereof. The door handle device includes a support member, door handle, lock detection electrode, and capacitance sensor. The door handle includes a first end, second end, pivot portion, and operation portion. A capacitance sensor detects issuance of a door lock command from a change in capacitance between an outer panel and lock detection electrode. The door handle includes a first handle case and second handle case covering the first handle case. The lock detection electrode is proximal to and faces an inner surface of at least one of an upper wall and lower wall of the second handle case. The lock detection includes an electrode end face facing the outer panel and formed to be non-planar.

Door handle device

An example radar system for a vehicle comprises a radar antenna, operable to produce a radar beam, and a lens assembly including at least one active lens, the radar beam passing through the lens assembly. The radar beam has a field of view that is adjustable using the active lens. In some examples, the active lens comprises a metamaterial, the metamaterial having an adjustable property such as an adjustable negative index, the field of view being adjustable using the adjustable property of the metamaterial.

A plurality of glass antennas formed as patterns on quarter glass panes are provided in opposite sides of a rearward portion of a vehicle body. Branching filters connected to feeding points of the glass antennas via coaxial cables, phase-shift circuits for phase adjustment of the FM band outputs separated by the branching filters, and combining circuits for combining the FM band outputs that have been phase-adjusted by the phase-shift circuits are contained in a shield case that is grounded to the vehicle body. The outer conductors of the coaxial cables at the branching filter side are grounded to the shield case therein.

Vehicular antenna device

The invention is an antenna system that transmits and receives image signals audio signal and/or data signals. The antenna system has at least one antenna element and one or more power supply elements. A power supply switching device switches the power supply element or elements to select at least one antenna element and a power supply cable supplies power to the power supply switching device.

Antenna system

An antenna structure for vehicles capable of minimizing the distance between a first contact member and a signal processing circuit and ensuring stable antenna performance without using a connection line of a lengthy wire rod is provided. To realize this advantage, an antenna element is disposed on a rear window glass, and the first contact member is disposed at an end of the antenna element. Further, an amplifier case having an attachment flange facing the rear window glass is fixed to a roof panel, and the signal processing circuit is disposed in the amplifier case at a position sandwiching the attachment flange.

Antenna structure for vehicles

A shield connection structure for shielding electromagnetic noise for a long time with a simple structure. A shielded cable is located through a cylindrical part of a shield terminal formed of a material having a small conductive resistance. The cylindrical part of the shield terminal is held in contact with a shield braid of the coaxial cable by a caulking layer between the shield braid and the cable core, and a flange part of the shield terminal is fixed via a low-resistance joint, such as a bolt, to a metallic housing. Use of relatively rigid caulking and the low-resistance joint provides a vibration-resistant shielded connection structure suitable for long-lived use in an applications such as a connection for an electric motor in a vehicle.

A vehicle wheel information supply device for supplying wheel information relating to a state of a wheel of a vehicle, including a wheel state detector for detecting the state of the wheel, a wheel information generator for generating the wheel information relating to the state of the wheel, on the basis of an output of the wheel state detector, a transmitter for transmitting the wheel information, and a receiver which receives the wheel information transmitted by the transmitter, the wheel state detector, the wheel information generator and the transmitter being disposed on the wheel while the receiver being disposed on a body of said vehicle, wherein the wheel information generator is capable of selectively generating different kinds of wheel information having respective different volumes, and at least one of the wheel information generator and the transmitter operates in a manner depending upon at least one parameter indicative of the state of the wheel, which at least one parameter is detected by the wheel state detector.
