A magnetic float for a magnetic sensor wherein magnetized magnetic powder is dispersed into a foamed synthetic resin, and the magnetic flux thereof acts on a reed switch in the magnetic sensor to turn on or off the reed switch. The magnetic powder is substantially wholly coated with the synthetic resin.

An iron powder attracting magnet, wherein a plurality of spaces are formed to open to an iron powder attracting surface and partitioned by a partition for attracting and removing iron powder contained in a fluid. The iron powder attracting magnet is made of a magnetic material which is prepared by impregnating a strontium ferrite into a synthetic resin.

A drain bolt wherein a recess is formed at the end of a male-threaded portion of a bolt body, and a sinker portion of a synthetic resin magnet is embedded in the recess of the bolt body so that a projecting portion of the magnet is projected from the end of the male-threaded portion of the bolt body. The projecting portion of the synthetic resin magnet is larger in diameter than the sinker portion. A plurality of grooves are formed on the side of the projecting portion of the synthetic resin magnet along its length.
