Provided are a navigation service assistance system based on a driver line of sight and a vehicle navigation system using the same. The navigation service assistance system recognizes in real time a direction at which a driver looks and a line of sight of the driver, using a sensor. The navigation service assistance system matches external image data and coordinates information based on the line of sight of the driver, using a map controller and extracts detailed information about a text, a place, a road, or the like at a matched position. Here, the map controller assists in enabling automatically extracted text information or a building, a place, a road, or the like to be set or changed as an intermediate point or a destination with only a simple operation of the driver.

Navigation service assistance system based on driver line of sight and vehicle navigation system using the same

A vehicle control device for a vehicle includes: a communication unit configured to receive vehicle-to-everything (V2X) information, the V2X information including position data; and a control unit configured to generate a control signal associated with driving of the vehicle based on the V2X information. The control unit generates the control signal associated with driving of the vehicle by: determining an expected driving route of the vehicle; based on the determination of the expected driving route of the vehicle, determining a region of interest; and based on the determination of the region of interest, selectively receiving first V2X information associated with the region of interest by: transmitting, through the communication unit, a request for transmission of the first V2X information associated with the region of interest to communication-enabled devices; and receiving, through the communication unit, the first V2X information transmitted by the communication-enabled devices.

Vehicle control device mounted on vehicle and method for controlling the vehicle

A vehicle control device that operates in an autonomous driving mode, the vehicle control device can include a controller that is configured to obtain vehicle driving information of a vehicle, in a state in which (i) the vehicle moves within a first distance from a destination or (ii) the vehicle receives a stop request while the vehicle is travelling, search for at least one available stopping area based on the vehicle driving information, and display information about the at least one available stopping area on a display unit or transmit the information to a terminal, further the controller is further configured to determine a location of an occupant inside the vehicle, and display the information about the at least one available stopping area on any one selected display inside the vehicle according to which display corresponds to the location of the occupant inside the vehicle.

The present invention relates to an external module comprising: an interface physically connected to a vehicle so as to exchange data with the vehicle; and a processor for receiving peripheral information of the vehicle and state information of the vehicle through the interface, acquiring the ADAS information, on the basis of the peripheral information of the vehicle and the state information of the vehicle, and performing control so as to allow a display inside the vehicle to display the ADAS information by transmitting the ADAS information, through the interface, to the vehicle.
