A USB power supply circuit is discussed. The circuit has at least two power converters and a controller. The controller controls the power converters to provide required output powers to devices attached to the controller and monitors the provided output powers. If one of the power converters has an idle power margin, the idle power margin would be distributed to other power converters.

A current sampling circuit applied to the buck-boost has a first sampling circuit, a second sampling circuit and a current processing circuit. An electrical circuit has a first integrated AC switch circuit connecting a first load to an AC voltage when the first integrated AC switch circuit is ON and a second integrated AC switch circuit connecting a second load to the AC voltage when the second integrated AC switch circuit is ON. The first integrated AC switch circuit generates a first DC voltage across a first capacitor and provides a pulse signal. When a VCCE pin of the second integrated AC switch circuit is coupled to a reference ground, a second capacitor is charged by the second integrated AC switch circuit to provide a second DC voltage. And when the VCCE pin of the second integrated AC switch circuit is floating or pulls high, the second capacitor is charged by the pulse signal.

AC switch with DC voltage generation

A multi-output DC-DC converter with constant on time control. The multi-output DC-DC converter has N clock signals, and N switching circuits converting an input voltage signal to N output voltage signals respectively. The N clock signals have the same frequency and a predetermined phase shift between every two successive clock signals of the N clock signals. When the N switching circuits are operated in a steady state, each of the N switching circuits is synchronized with a corresponding one of the N clock signals.

Control circuit and control method for multi-output DC-DC converter

An AC switch circuit coupled between an AC input signal and an AC load has a first switch, a second switch, a driving circuit, and a power generation circuit. The first switch blocks a first half-cycle of the AC input signal when turned OFF, and the second switch blocks a second half-cycle of the AC input signal when turned OFF. The driving circuit provides a driving signal to control the first switch and the second switch based on an enable signal. The power generation circuit provides a voltage signal to power the driving circuit. The power generation circuit stores energy from the AC input signal when the first switch and the second switch are turned OFF, and the power generation circuit is disconnected from the AC input signal when the first switch and the second switch are turned ON.

AC switch circuit and associated control method

A bootstrap circuit integrated to a voltage converter integrated circuit (IC) and a voltage converter IC for a switch mode voltage regulator. The bootstrap circuit is used to provide a bootstrap voltage signal for driving a high side switch of the voltage converter IC. The bootstrap circuit has a pre-charger and a bootstrap capacitor. The pre-charger provides a first bootstrap signal to pre-charge a control terminal of the high side switch, and the bootstrap capacitor provides a second bootstrap signal to enhance the charge of the control terminal of the high side switch.

A SMPS has a switching circuit and a controller. The switching circuit has an input terminal and an output terminal, and also includes a switch and an inductor, wherein the switching circuit regulates an output voltage at the output terminal based on an input voltage at the input terminal by controlling a switching action of the switch. The controller generates a switching control signal to control the switch, where the switching control signal transits from a first state to a second state when an output signal at the output terminal satisfies a predetermined condition, and the switching control signal transits from the second state to the first state after a period of time. And a switching frequency of the switch and an inductor ripple current of the inductor both vary with the input voltage.
