An applicator includes: an applying part on a front portion thereof; a removable cap that totally covers the applying part; a sealing element that seals up a front end portion of the applying part when the cap is fitted; and an inner cap provided inside the cap. The inner cap includes an inner cap body and a hinged cap that is joined to the inner cap body and can abut the inner cap body. The hinged cap has a hollow mounting portion. An engaging portion for fixing the hinged cap is formed inside the cap. When the inner cap having the sealing element held between the inner cap body and the mounting portion is fitted into the interior of the cap, the hinged cap is engaged by the engaging portion inside the cap.

Applicator

An applicator for cosmetics (in particular, eyeliner) and writing implements. The applicator includes an extrusion device that extrudes the content liquid to an applicator part. The applicator part has a conical part formed in an approximate conical shape. The conical parthas a plurality of thin disks arranged concentrically. The outside diameters of thin disks define a conical shape from a front end to a rear, and the thin disks is connected at their approximate center by an approximate cone or approximate cylinder. A plurality of grooves are formed in a front-to-rear direction of the applicator part. A liquid flow passage connected to a flow path is formed inside the approximate cone or approximate cylinder. Also, slits connecting the liquid flow passage and the grooves are formed on an outer side of the approximate cone or approximate cylinder.

An applicator includes a squeezer for pushing out a content liquid to an applicator part, and the shape of a content liquid delivering port of the applicator part is formed to be oval or rectangular while the minor axis and major axis on the delivery port side are specified to be 0.5 to 2 mm and 2 to 8 mm, respectively. In this applicator, large-sized particles can be delivered by enlargement of the bore inside the applicator part. Further, formation of an oval delivering port allows for drawing fine lines in the minor axis direction and thick lines in the major axis direction. Moreover, provision of small-diametric projections at the front end of applicator, enables drawing of long lines and retaining of the liquid cosmetic stored between projections.

A liquid applicator which, in its assembled state an applying part, joint, and front barrel are fixed to a barrel body front end portion, the step of an indented/projected engaging portion on the inner peripheral side of the applying part rear end portion is abutted from behind against and engaged with the step of an indented/projected engaging portion on the outer peripheral side of the forward part of the joint. At the same time, an indented/projected engaging portion on the outer peripheral side of the applying part rear end portion is abutted against and engaged with an indented/projected engaging portion on the inner peripheral side of the front barrel's forward part, and an indented/projected engaging portion on the inner peripheral side of the front barrel rearward part is engaged with an indented/projected engaging portion on the outer peripheral side in the rearward part of joint, whereby applying part, joint and front barrel are formed so as to fix the applying part to barrel body by means of the joint and the front barrel.

Liquid applicator

In the cosmetic storage type applicator having a structure for supplying a cosmetic to an applying part from the interior of a barrel cylinder, a cap removably attached to the front part of the barrel cylinder for covering the applying part and plastic mouthpiece is provided; an inner sleeve having a tapered inside diameter toward the front end is arranged inside the body of cap and integrally formed with the cap body; and the inner peripheral surfaces and from the inner sleeve to the cap body are formed with a smooth surface without any step.
