A liquid ejecting unit includes: a liquid ejecting head configured to eject a liquid; a flow channel member that is attached to the liquid ejecting head and that supplies the liquid to the liquid ejecting head; and an electric coupling member configured to supply a signal to the liquid ejecting head, in which the electric coupling member has a first electric coupling portion, the liquid ejecting head has a second electric coupling portion electrically coupled to the first electric coupling portion, and the flow channel member restricts the electric coupling member from moving in a direction in which the first electric coupling portion is removed from the second electric coupling portion.

A liquid ejecting apparatus includes a fixation member that can be located at a fixation position where a liquid supply coupling portion is coupled to a liquid ejecting head mounted on a carriage and is fixed to the carriage and at a release position where the fixation is released, and a carriage cover provided to the carriage such that the carriage cover is located at a closed position and covers an upper part of the carriage when the liquid ejecting head ejects the liquid. The carriage cover includes a contact portion that comes into contact with the fixation member when the carriage cover is located at a position different from the closed position in a case in which the fixation member is located at the release position.

A printing apparatus includes a transporting unit configured to transport a medium, a printing unit configured to perform printing on the medium, a cutting unit located downstream of the printing unit in a transport direction of the medium, and configured to cut the medium, and a blowing unit configured to deliver gas from upstream of the cutting unit in the transport direction of the medium toward downstream of the cutting unit.

A transport device provided in a printing apparatus includes a transport mechanism as an example of a first transport unit and a winding unit that is disposed on a downstream side of the transport mechanism in a transport direction. The transport device includes a tensile force applying unit that has a tension bar as an example of a tensile force applying member that is biased toward a medium between the transport mechanism and the winding unit and applies tensile force to the medium. Furthermore, the transport device includes a control unit that independently and intermittently drives the transport mechanism and the winding unit. The control unit controls transport start timing of the winding unit to take place later than transport start timing of the transport mechanism and causes the transport mechanism and the winding unit to transport the medium in parallel.
