A vehicle body rear structure includes a pair of rear side members extending in a vehicle-body front-rear direction, a suspension member including a pair of side beams and a cross beam, and a brace linked to the cross beam via a second rubber bushing and linked to each of the rear side members. The side beams extend in the vehicle-body front-rear direction and are each linked to a corresponding one of the rear side members via a first rubber bushing. The cross beam is linked to each of the side beams.

Vehicle body rear structure

An electric vehicle may include a body; a low-voltage component disposed in a rear portion of the body; and at least one coupling member securing the low-voltage component to a plurality of securing portions of the body. The plurality of securing portions may include at least one first securing portion located forward of the low-voltage component in a vehicle front-rear direction and at least one second securing portion located rearward of the low-voltage component in the vehicle front-rear direction. A center of the at least one first securing portion and a center of the at least one second securing portion are located at different positions from each other in a vehicle vertical direction.

A body of an electric vehicle may include: a floor panel; a pair of rockers extending along both side edges of the floor panel, respectively; an indoor floor crossmember protruding upward from the floor panel and connecting the rockers to each other; an outdoor floor crossmember protruding downward from the floor panel, connecting the rockers to each other, and located rearward of the indoor floor crossmember; and a battery case located below the floor panel and housing a battery configured to supply power to a traction motor. The battery case may extend from a position located frontward of the indoor floor crossmember to a position that is located rearward of the indoor floor crossmember and frontward of the outdoor floor crossmember.

Body of electric vehicle

A body of a vehicle may include: a floor panel including a panel consisting of a single plate; a pair of rockers extending along both of side edges of the floor panel, respectively; an indoor floor crossmember protruding upward from the floor panel and connecting the rockers to each other; an outdoor floor crossmember protruding downward from the floor panel, connecting the rockers to each other, and located rearward of the indoor floor crossmember; and a unit component located below the floor panel. The unit component may extend from a position located frontward of the indoor floor crossmember to a position that is located rearward of the indoor floor crossmember and frontward of the outdoor floor crossmember. A portion of the floor panel that is within a range surrounded by the pair of rockers, the indoor crossmember, and the outdoor crossmember may consist of the panel.

Body of vehicle

An electric vehicle may include a body; a spare tire disposed in a rear portion of the body; and a brace fixed to the body, extending along a vehicle longitudinal direction, and supporting the spare tire from below. The brace may include a front end fixed to the body, a rear end fixed to the body at a position rearward of the front end, and a bent portion located between the front end and the rear end. The bent portion of the brace is located above a straight line extending between the front end and the rear end of the brace.

Electric vehicle

The disclosure herein provides a technique that provides increased strength to a jointed site of ends of two channel-shaped plates. A first (second) channel-shaped plate includes an elongated first (second) main plate, a first (second) upper flange, and a first (second) lower flange. The first channel-shaped plate includes a first extension at an end thereof, the first extension extending from the first lower flange and a lower part of the first main plate, and extending in a longitudinal direction of the channel-shaped plate. The second channel-shaped plate includes a second extension same as the first extension. The ends of the first and the second channel-shaped plates are assembled and joined such that the first extension is located outside the second channel-shaped plate and the second extension is located outside the first channel-shaped plate. A reinforcement plate is joined to both of the first main plate and the second main plate.

An automobile vehicle includes a vehicle body that includes a floor panel and a pair of left and right cross members, and a battery pack. The pair of left and right cross members are coupled to the floor panel and extend in a left-right direction. The battery pack is disposed below the floor panel. The battery pack includes a lower battery, an upper battery disposed above the lower battery, and a coupling member that is disposed above the lower battery at the center of the automobile vehicle in the left-right direction in a front view, that extends in the left-right direction, and that is coupled on both end sides to the respective left and right cross members.

Automobile vehicle

An onboard battery includes an accommodation case that has an upper accommodation unit and a lower accommodation unit positioned below the upper accommodation unit battery modules each having battery cells, and joints that couple the upper accommodation unit and the lower accommodation unit to each other. At least one battery module is accommodated in each of the upper accommodation unit and the lower accommodation unit. When a predetermined load or more is applied to the upper accommodation unit, a stress acts on the joints such that the upper accommodation unit and the lower accommodation unit are separated from each other, and the upper accommodation unit is moved away from the lower accommodation unit.

Onboard battery

A battery module is mounted in the rear of a vehicle body and attached to at least one rear side frame extending rearward in the vehicle body such that the rear side module protrudes rearward beyond the battery module. One or a plurality of slope members is provided at the rear of the battery module. Each of the slope members forms a frontward rising inclined surface that protrudes above the rear side frame at the rear of the battery module.

A vehicle includes: a wire that is mounted on a vehicle body to which an external force is applied according to a running state during running of the vehicle, and applies a tension to the vehicle body; an actuator to adjust the tension of the wire to change a rigidity of the vehicle body; and a controller to output a control signal to the actuator. The controller determines the running state, outputs to the actuator a control signal designating a tension according to the determined running state, and controls distortion of the vehicle body.
