A rinsing water supply system for supplying water to a rinsing unit of a developing apparatus in which photosensitive materials are processed and rinsed. The water supply system includes a pipe having a water supply passage through which water is introduced into the rinsing unit from a water source, a solenoid valve for opening and closing the water supply passage, and signal lines arranged along and integrally with the pipe and adapted for transmitting signals for operating the solenoid valve. This arrangement eliminates the necessity for installation of a signal transmission line independently from the water supply passage, for the purpose of transmitting signals for operating the solenoid valve.

A process for processing a silver halide color photographic material after imagewise exposing said silver halide color photographic material, comprising color developing, blixing, and then washing, wherein the processing time for said blixing is from about 30 seconds to about 70 seconds, the blixing liquid for said blixing contains from about 0.08 to about 0.30 mol/liter of sulfite ion, and the replenishing amount of washing water for said washing is from about 3 times to about 50 times the amount of processing liquid carried from the previous bath per unit area of said color photographic material.

Process for processing silver halide color photographic materials

The present invention relates to a processing method for a silver halide color photographic material, which makes it possible to substantially reduce the amount of waste liquor and the pollution of the environments. In the process, the color photosensitive material is continuously developed, and the process is characterized in that all or a part of the overflow of a color developer being substantially free from benzyl alcohol is used as a part of a processing solution used in a process other than the color development process.

Processing method for silver halide color photosensitive materials

A method of processing a silver halide-containing photosenstitive material for color photography includes the silver-removing step in which silver which is formed by reduction in the color developing step is oxidized by a bleaching agent and further changed into a soluble silver complex by the action of a fixing agent. In this process, bleaching is carried out in both a bleaching bath and a bleach-fixing bath, and fixing is effected in the bleach-fixing bath. In the bleach-fixing bath, a stream of bleach-fixing solution is brought into contact with the emulsion coating surface of the color photosensitive material at a higher flow velocity than that of a stream of bleach-fixing solution which is circulated in the bath. The time for processing carried out in the bleaching bath is set so as to be shorter than the time for processing in a bleaching bath in a conventional method wherein removal of silver is effected by the combination of a bleaching bath and a fixing bath which involves no bleaching process, and also the total time for processing carried out in the bleaching and bleach-fixing baths is set so as to be shorter than the total time for processing in the bleaching and fixing baths in said conventional method. As bleaching and fixing agents, a ferric aminopolycarboxylic acid complex and a thiosulfate are particularly effectively employed, respectively.

Method of and apparatus for processing silver halide-containing

A method of processing a silver halide-containing photosensitive material for color photography includes the silver-removing step in which silver which is formed by reduction in the color developing step is oxidized by a bleaching agent and further changed into a soluble silver complex by the action of a fixing agent. In this process, bleaching is carried out in both a bleaching bath and a bleach-fixing bath, and fixing is effected in the bleach-fixing bath. In the bleach-fixing bath, a stream of bleach-fixing solution is brought into contact with the emulsion coating surface of the color photosensitive material at a higher flow velocity than that of a stream of bleach-fixing solution which is circulated in the bath. As bleaching and fixing agents, a ferric aminopolycarboxylic acid complex and a thiosulfate are particularly effectively employed, respectively.

Method for processing silver halide-containing photosensitive material

A silver halide color photographic material having at least one silver halide emulsion layer on a reflective support is, after having been imagewise exposed, subjected to color development with a color developer which does not substantially contain benzyl alcohol and which contains a bromide ion in an amount of 4.times.10.sup.-3 mol/liter or less, for a period of time of 2 minutes or less, to obtain a color images with a high colored density. The silver halide color photographic material specifically has at least one silver chlorobromide emulsion layer which does not substantially contain silver iodide and which contains silver chloride in an amount of 50 mol % or more. In the color images thus formed by the present process, the colored density is high and the fog is less.

A method for processing a silver halide color photographic material is disclosed, which comprises processing an imagewise exposed silver halide color photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer comprising silver chloride or silver chlorobromide containing at least 80 mol % of silver chloride with a color developing solution and thereafter processing the material with a bleach-fixing solution, wherein the bleach-fixing solution contains a ferric complex salt of an organic acid and from about 1.times.10.sup.-2 to about 2 mol of bromide ions and/or from about 5.times.10.sup.-4 to about 5.times.10.sup.-2 mol of iodide ions per liter. The method for processing a silver halide color photographic material according to the present invention is excellent in desilvering ability, and enables rapid processing to be conducted.

The present invention relates to a method for continuously processing a color reversal photographic material. After black and white development, the color reversal photographic material is rinsed in a bath wherein the replenishing amount per unit area of the photographic material is 3 to 50 times as much as the amount of processing solution carried over from the preceding bath in terms of volume ratio and the pH is 9.5 or below.

In accordance with the method of forming an image, desilveration is completed in a short period of time and color photographic images having excellent color reproducibility and fastness are obtained without the formation of magenta stain.

The present invention, relates to a method for the bleaching-fixation processing of silver halide color photographic materials. The present invention provides for sufficient desilvering in a short period of time without deterioration of the photographic characteristic of the materials as processed while minimizing the amount of replenisher which is used. Accordingly, the present invention is a method for the processing of silver halide color photographic materials wherein, after the color-development, the material is processed by bleaching-fixation with at least two continuous bleaching-fixation baths to which a replenisher is fed in a countercurrent system, wherein the total bleaching-fixation processing time in the bleaching-fixation step is to be 0.37 minutes or more per g/m.sup.2 of the silver amount coated on the material and wherein the processing time in the first bleaching-fixation bath is to be 45% or less of the total bleaching-fixation processing time.
