Provided is a refrigerating machine oil composition for a mixed refrigerant comprising difluoromethane, the composition comprising a polymer (A) below and an ester (B) of polyhydric alcohol(s) with aliphatic monocarboxylic acid(s). The polymer (A): a polymer which is obtained by polymerizing monomer(s) consisting of at least one monomer of monosubstituted ethylenes and disubstituted ethylenes, and in which a ratio of a monomer represented by the following general formula (I): wherein Rrepresents an alkyl group having 1 to 14 carbon atoms, Rrepresents hydrogen or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and the sum of carbon numbers in Rand Ris 2 to 14, is 75 to 100% by mass based on a total mass of monomers constituting the polymer.

Refrigerating machine oil composition and working fluid composition for refrigerating machine using same

Provided is a refrigerating machine oil composition for a refrigerant consisting of difluoromethane, the composition comprising a polymer (A) below and an ester (B) of polyhydric alcohol(s) with aliphatic monocarboxylic acid(s). Provided are an ester of isotridecanoic acid and pentaerythritol, etc., wherein (i) the kinematic viscosity at 40&#xb0; C. is in the range of 80-140 mm/sec. and (ii) the number of terminal methyl groups per molecule of isotridecanoic acid in the isotridecanoic acid obtained byH-NMR measurement is in the range of 2.6-3.4 on average.

Ester of pentaerythritol and isotridecanoic acid used therefor

Provided is a refrigerating machine oil which comprises an ester between a polyol consisting of at least one of pentaerythritol and dipentaerythritol represented by formula (I) and 2-propylheptanoic acid, and is characterized in that the refrigerating machine oil can be used in combination with a refrigerant consisting of 1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene (HFO-1234ze). When the refrigerating machine oil is used in combination with a refrigerant consisting of HFO-1234ze, excellent miscibility with the refrigerant, lubricity, thermal and chemical stability and the like can be achieved.

The present invention provides a mixed ester of pentaerythritol or a mixed polyhydric alcohol and carboxylic acids; the mixed polyhydric alcohol consisting of pentaerythritol and dipentaerythritol represented by formula (I), and the carboxylic acids comprising 2-ethylhexanoic acid and 2-propylheptanoic acid. The mixed ester exhibits excellent properties (e.g., miscibility with a refrigerant that comprises fluoropropene, low-temperature fluidity, and lubricity) in a well-balanced manner while having the viscosity within the range required for a refrigerant oil, and may be used in an industrial lubricant (e.g., refrigerant oil) and the like.

Mixed ester

The present invention provides a mixed ester of pentaerythritol or a mixed polyhydric alcohol and carboxylic acids; the mixed polyhydric alcohol consisting of pentaerythritol and dipentaerythritol represented by formula (I), and the carboxylic acids comprising 3,5,5-trimethylhexanoic acid and 2-propylheptanoic acid. The mixed ester exhibits excellent properties (e.g., miscibility with a refrigerant that comprises fluoropropene, low-temperature properties, oxidation stability, oxidation-hydrolysis stability, and lubricity) in a well-balanced manner while having the viscosity within the range required for a refrigerant oil, and may be used in an industrial lubricant (e.g., refrigerant oil) and the like.

A neopentyl glycol diester which is a mixed ester of neopentyl glycol and carboxylic acids is provided, wherein the carboxylic acids consisting of isobutyric acid as well as 2-ethylhexanoic acid and/or 3,5,5-trimethylhexanoic acid. The neopentyl glycol diester may be used in a refrigerant oil or the like which exhibits excellent miscibility with a difluoromethane refrigerant among other properties.
