A lip type end face sealing device having excellent sealability to different kinds of liquids on both sides in the axial direction and having excellent durability. A case is tight fitted to an inner peripheral face of a housing and includes case members. One pair of seal lips is integrally fitted to inner peripheral flange parts, positioned oppositely each other in the axial direction, and opened in a tapered shape. One pair of the seal lips is slidably contacted with flange parts of slingers tight fitted to an outer periphery of a rotary shaft. Pressure in seal internal spaces between the seal lips is released through a vent hole.

The present invention provides a conductive rubber member which exhibits low electrical resistance, and has properties that are less affected by environmental factors, and excellent staining resistance. The conductive rubber member of the present invention has a base rubber predominantly containing epichlorohydrin rubber, and a conductive elastic layer which is formed, through hardening and molding of a rubber composition, wherein the rubber composition contains, as vulcanizing agents, a thiourea-type vulcanizing agent and a thiuram-type vulcanizing agent, and contains no elemental sulfur.

A method of manufacturing a two-layer roll having a foamed elastic layer provided on a core, and an elastic layer provided on the foamed elastic layer includes the steps of forming the elastic layer by use of a cylindrical mold holding a first cylindrical member used to form the outer cylindrical surface of the elastic layer, the first cylindrical member being manufactured by means of machining a solid member; forming a solid primary layer on the core by means of side extrusion; setting the formed elastic layer and the core having the solid primary layer formed thereon in a second cylindrical member of a foaming mold; and foaming the solid primary layer into the foamed elastic layer to form the two-layer roll having the formed elastic layer and the elastic layer.
