A display apparatus includes: a substrate including a display region and a non-display region outside the display region; a first line disposed on an upper surface of the substrate in the non-display region of the substrate, where the first line has a first height; a flexible printed circuit board; a second line disposed on a lower surface of the flexible printed circuit board, where the second line has a second height; and a connection line located in a portion in which the substrate and the flexible printed circuit board overlap each other and disposed between the substrate and the flexible printed circuit board, where in the connection lines has a third height greater than each of the first height and the second height, one end of the connection line is connected to the first line, and another end of the connection line is connected to the second line.

The display device includes: a first substrate including a display area and a pad area; a polarization film disposed at an upper surface of the first substrate to overlap the display area; a flexible printed circuit board disposed at a lower surface of the first substrate; a via hole defined through the first substrate at the pad area; and a connection metal located at the via hole. The connection metal includes a connection portion disposed in the via hole and a first protruding portion that protrudes with respect to the first substrate, and the polarization film is spaced apart from the via hole in a plan view.

A display apparatus includes a plurality of pixels disposed in an active area, a plurality of non-pixels disposed in a non-active area adjacent to the active area, and a plurality of light guide members disposed on boundary pixels of the pixels in the active area and which extends into the non-active area and is disposed on the non-pixels in the non-active area. The boundary pixels are adjacent to a boundary between the active area and the non-active area, and the light guide members guide light exiting from the boundary pixels to the non-pixels.
