A durable anti-fogging agent composition comprises at least one sulfonic acid type amphoteric surface active agent represented by the following general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 each stand for an alkyl, hydroxyalkyl or benzyl group, the sum of carbon atoms of the groups R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 is in the range of 16 to 38 and one of the groups R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 is an alkyl or hydroxyalkyl group having at least 14 carbon atoms, and R.sub.4 stands for an alkylene or hydroxyalkylene group having 2 to 4 carbon atoms, and at least one member selected from inorganic salts and acetates represented by the general formulae MeSCN, MeNO.sub.3, MeX and MeOOCCH.sub.3 in which Me is a cation selected from Na, K, Li, NH.sub.4, 1/2Ca and 1/2Mg and X is a halogen ion.

A powder detergent composition comprising as main ingredients a surface active agent and an inorganic builder and/or an organic builder, characterized in that the composition also contains at least one bluing dye precursor having the formula (1) ##EQU1## wherein A is hydrogen, halogen, -CH.sub.3, -OCH.sub.3, -SO.sub.3 H or -SO.sub.3 Na, Y is -S-, -O-, ##EQU2## or -C=C-, R is methyl or ethyl, and W is ##SPC1## The composition can also contain at least one active halogengenerating agent.

Powder detergent composition

A detergent composition containing (a) from 0.001 to 1.0 percent by weight of at least one radical chain-inhibiting antioxidant selected from the group consisting of 4,4'-butylidene-bis(6-tert-butyl-3-methylphenol), 2,2'-butylidene-bis(6-tert-butyl-4-methylphenol), monostyrenated cresol, distyrenated cresol, monostyrenated phenol, distyrenated phenol and 1,1'-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)cyclohexane and (b) 0.5 to 50 percent by weight of an oxygen-type bleaching agent.

Detergent composition

A detergent composition containing a non-coloring antioxidant to reduce yellowing of clothes. A detergent composition containing 0.001 to 5 percent by weight of a non-coloring antioxidant and 1 to 35 percent by weight of a metal-deactivating agent to reduce yellowing of clothes.
