The disclosure provides an LED lamp lighting system, a dimmer and an LED lamp thereof, wherein the dimmer is configured to adjust the LED lamp. The LED lamp is powered by the dimmer, and the dimmer includes: a dimming signal generating module, receiving a dimming command, and outputting a dimming signal based on the received dimming command; a signal synthesis module, coupled to the dimming signal generating module and electrically connected to an output end of the dimmer, and configured to adjust the power supply signal generated by the dimmer based on the dimming signal, so as to output the modulated power supply signal synthesized with the dimming command, wherein, the AC component in the waveform of the modulated power supply signal is configured to describe the dimming command.

Light-emitting diode lamp illumination system, and dimmer and light-emitting diode lamp thereof

The present disclosure presents a surge protection circuit, and a power supply device and an LED lighting device both applying the surge protection circuit. The surge protection circuit includes an inductive circuit and an energy-releasing circuit. The inductive circuit is coupled to a power loop for a load, and is configured to receive and temporarily store surge energy in the power loop. The energy-releasing circuit is connected in parallel with the inductive circuit, and is configured to release the surge energy for preventing the surge energy from affecting later-stage circuit(s).

Surge protection circuit, power supply device using same, and LED illumination device

The fixing structure includes a first structure part and a second structure part. The first structure part is capable of sleeving over an end of the LED tube lamp and engages with the second structure part. The first structure part includes: a receiving opening capable of being inserted by the end of the LED tube lamp; a position through hole penetrating a back wall of the receiving opening, an area of the position through hole on the back wall being smaller than an area of the bottom wall of the receiving opening, the position through hole capable of engaging with a position part on the end of the LED tube lamp; at least two pins disposed on an outer surface of the back wall; and two convex walls disposed on two opposite outer surfaces of the first structure part. Each of the convex wall forms a coupling structure with the first structure part. The second structure part includes a first wall, a second wall, a third wall and a fourth wall. The third wall has a first side, second side, third side and fourth side. The first side is parallel with the third side and the second side is parallel with the fourth side. The first wall connects to the first side of the third wall and is substantially perpendicular with the third wall. The second wall connects to the third side of the third wall and is substantially parallel with the first wall. The fourth wall connects to the second side and is substantially perpendicular with the third wall.

LED tube lamp

An LED lamp and a power supply module thereof are provided. The power supply module includes a driving circuit, a OVP circuit, and an impedance detection circuit. The OVP circuit is configured to determine whether an OVP condition is detected by sampling the driving signal, and the impedance detection circuit is configured to determine whether a user touching state is detected. When either the OVP condition or the user touching state is detected, the power switch of the driving circuit will be controlled to limit the amount of a current flowing through the power switch. In addition, the impedance detection circuit could detect the user touching state by comparing signals with a defined level sampled during each pulse, thus enhancing the detection accuracy.

LED lamp and power source module thereof

An LED lamp and a power source module thereof are provided. The power source module includes a switch-type DC-to-DC converter integrated with a function for detecting whether a foreign external impedance exists. The switch-type DC-to-DC converter is configured to enter an installation detection mode when the switch-type DC-to-DC converter is activated. When the switch-type DC-to-DC converter is in the installation detection mode, the switch-type DC-to-DC converter receives an external AC signal received by the LED lamp to detect whether a foreign external impedance exists based on the received signal.

LED lamp and power source module thereof related applications

A circuit board configuration adapted to carry electronic components of a power supply module is provided. The circuit board configuration comprises: a first circuit board, having a first plane configured to dispose and connect a part of the electronic components; and a second circuit board, electrically connected to the first circuit board and having a second plane configured to dispose and connect another part of the electronic components, wherein at least one of the first and the second circuit boards is disposed, perpendicular to an axial direction of the lamp tube, in an interior space formed by the lamp tube and at least one of the two end caps, so that the a direction normal to the first and the second planes is substantially parallel to the axial direction of the lamp tube.

An LED tube lamp and an impedance detection method thereof are provided. The LED tube lamp includes a power supply module comprising an impedance detection controller, configured to perform, before the LED tube lamp being lighted up, an impedance detection to determine whether the LED tube lamp is electrically connected to a foreign external impedance in series. When the LED tube lamp is connected to the foreign external impedance in series, the impedance detection controller causes at least two transient variations to an operating current of the LED tube lamp and limits the operating current of the LED tube lamp to not exceed 5 MIU in root-mean-square (RMS), in which a duration of each transient variation does not exceed 1 millisecond when the impedance detection controller performs the impedance detection.

An LED tube lamp including an LED module and a power supply module is provided. The LED module is configured to emit light in response to a driving current. The power supply module is electrically connected to the LED module to provide the driving current based on an external driving signal. The power supply module includes a rectifying circuit, a filtering circuit, a driving circuit, a flicker suppression circuit, and an installation detection circuit. The flicker suppression circuit is electrically connected to the LED module, and configured to control a conduction state of a current path passing through the LED module. The installation detection circuit is electrically connected to the flicker suppression circuit, and configured to detect whether a foreign external impedance is electrically connected to the LED tube lamp. When the foreign external impedance is detected, the installation detection circuit disables the flicker suppression circuit to restrict current from flowing through the current path. When the foreign external impedance is not detected, the installation detection circuit enables the flicker suppression circuit to smooth the driving current by controlling the conduction state based on the external driving signal.

A power supply module is configured to provide, based on an external driving signal, a driving current for driving an LED tube lamp. The power supply module includes a detection path circuit, configured to establish a detection path which is capable of affecting an electrical signal on a power line of the power supply module when the detection path is turned on, and a driving circuit, electrically connected to the detection path circuit, and configured to produce the driving current based on the external driving signal. When the driving circuit is activated by receiving the external driving signal, the driving circuit enters into a first mode to detect whether a foreign external impedance is electrically connected to the LED tube lamp. When the foreign external impedance is detected, the driving circuit remains in the first mode, and when the foreign external impedance is not detected, the driving circuit enters into a second mode to produce the driving current. The driving circuit is further configured to obtain a dimming message from the electrical signal and adjust the magnitude of the driving current according to the dimming message when in the second mode.

Led tube lamp

A light emitting diode (LED) tube lamp configured to receive an external driving signal includes an LED module for emitting light, the LED module comprising an LED unit comprising an LED; a rectifying circuit for rectifying the external driving signal to produce a rectified signal, the rectifying circuit having a first output terminal and a second output terminal for outputting the rectified signal; a filtering circuit connected to the LED module, and configured to provide a filtered signal for the LED unit; and a protection circuit for providing protection for the LED tube lamp. The protection circuit includes a voltage divider comprising two elements connected in series between the first and second output terminals of the rectifying circuit, for producing a signal at a connection node between the two elements; and a control circuit coupled to the connection node between the two elements, for receiving, and detecting a state of, the signal at the connection node. The control circuit includes or is coupled to a switching circuit coupled to the rectifying circuit, and the switching circuit is configured to be triggered on or off by the detected state, upon the external driving signal being input to the LED tube lamp, to allow discontinuous current to flow through the LED unit.

LED tube lamp with operating modes compatible with electrical ballasts

An LED tube lamp having an LED unit is disclosed. The LED tube lamp includes a control circuit that selectively determines whether to perform a first mode or a second mode of lighting operation according to a state of a property of an external driving signal and a switching circuit coupled to the control circuit and the LED unit. When the control circuit determines to perform the first mode of lighting operation, the control circuit controls the second circuit in a manner such that the switching circuit maintains its on state to allow continual current to flow through the LED unit, until the external driving signal is disconnected from the LED tube lamp, and when the control circuit determines to perform the second mode of lighting operation, the control circuit controls the switching circuit in a manner to regulate the continuity of current to flow through the LED unit by alternately turning on and off the switching circuit.
