Disclosed is a developing unitincluding a tank containing a liquid toner, a pick-up rollerfor drawing the liquid toner from the tank, an application rollerwhose circumferential surfaceis supplied with the liquid toner by the pick-up roller, and a developing rollerwhose circumferential surfaceis applied with the liquid toner by the application roller. The pick-up rollerand the application rollerare arranged in parallel to each other and circumferential surfacesthereof are in contact with each other. The circumferential surfacesof the pick-up rollerand the application rollerare formed with a plurality of grooves, respectively, which extend continuously in the axial direction X
