An antenna unit for a base station is disclosed, comprising: a non-metal structural base; a metal pattern formed on a first side of the base and comprising a feeding network and radiator elements; and a metal layer formed on a second side opposite to the first side of the base and serving as a reflector. The metal layer is configured as an EMC cover for blocking or suppressing electromagnetic interference between the antenna unit and a radio unit electrically coupled to the antenna unit. An antenna module and a base station comprising the above-mentioned antenna unit are also disclosed.

A heat exchanger apparatus includes at least one metal sheet with a corrugated surface, fabric covering at least a part of one surface of the at least one metal sheet to promote evaporation, and a wetting agent in the fabric to promote wetting of the fabric, the wetting agent also acting as an anti-microbial agent.

Embodiments of the disclosure provide an antenna filter unit and a radio unit. The antenna filter unit includes a radiation unit and a cavity filter coupled to the radiation unit. The radiation unit is arranged on an outer side of a wall of a cavity of the cavity filter. At least a part of the wall is also arranged as a reflection plate for the radiation unit. The radio unit includes the above-mentioned antenna filter unit and a radio circuit board. According to the antenna filter unit and the radio unit provided by embodiments of the disclosure, the number and volume of elements in a radio system are reduced, the degree of integration can be improved, the weight and installation space are reduced, and the costs are reduced.

The invention relates to a heat exchanger apparatus comprising at least one metal sheet () (e.g. aluminium), and preferably a plurality in a stack. Each metal sheet () has a corrugated surface, with fabric covering at least a portion of one surface of the metal sheet to promote evaporation. A wetting agent (e.g. LiCl/Polyvinyl-Alcohol (PVA) solution) is provided in the fabric to promote wetting of the fabric, and also acts as an anti-microbial agent. The fabric preferably covers all of the corrugated surface, and two planar portions are provided above and below the corrugated surface respectively. In use, the heat exchanger apparatus is disposed with a long side vertical and the corrugated surface is disposed on a middle portion, the upper planar portion is contiguous with an air outlet, and/or the lower planar portion is contiguous with an air inlet. In a preferred embodiment, the corrugated surface has in cross-section a profile of a periodic waveform, wherein the peak-to-peak distance is 11.6 mm, the amplitude is 2.5 mm, and corrugations intersect the plane of the heat exchanger apparatus at an angle to that plane of 50 degrees. Also disclosed are a cooling system incorporating the heat exchanger apparatus and methods of operating the cooling system, involving intermittently operating a water supply system for the application of water to the fabric, and/or, recirculating water from a water sump using the water supply system.

A building earthquake resistance structure includes an integrally connected roof support frame, used for supporting a roof of a building independently from walls of the building; a plurality of support columns, fixedly connected to the roof support frame; an annular trench, arranged in the ground around the building; an annular damping frame, arranged within the annular trench, lower ends of the support columns being fixedly connected to the annular damping frame; a plurality of dampers, arranged between a bottom portion of the annular trench and the annular damping frame. An earthquake resistance method for the building earthquake resistance structure prevents damage caused by the roof collapsing during an earthquake by supporting the roof of the existing building in the ground via the support columns. The building earthquake resistance structure is easy to construct and suitable for transforming traditional old buildings.

A controller can include a signal generator configured to provide an input signal to a modulator. The controller can be configured to generate a modulator compensation parameter in response to a modulated feedback signal corresponding to an output of the modulator. The controller can also be configured to generate a power amplifier predistortion signal in response to an amplified feedback signal corresponding to an output of a power amplifier coupled to the modulator.
