To avoid the disadvantages of additionally required space, unwanted crosstalk and deterioration in transmission properties that are concomitant with a separate transformer, a plug connector is proposed, comprising: a plug base with terminal contacts for external contacting of the plug connector, base-side connection contacts, and a transformer unit for galvanic separation in a conductive path between the terminal contacts and the base-side connection contacts and a plug body with plug contacts, the plug base and the plug body enclosing a contact element for connecting the base-side connection contacts to the plug contacts and the contact element being planar in a plane perpendicular to a plug-in direction of the plug body. A shielding element for the plug connector is also proposed.

An electrical connector for contacting a mating connector is proposed which has a locking device and includes a locking mechanism by means of a tiltable locking latch. The spring-loaded unlocking mechanism is triggered by pulling on a pull tab and constitutes a secure locking connection between the electrical connector and the mating connector.

The invention proposes an electrical plug-type connector for making contact with a mating plug-type connector, said plug-type connector having a displaceable locking and unlocking apparatus, which exerts a constant pressure on the apparatus by means of a double-sided torsion spring in such a way that the plug-type connector is forcibly locked when contact is made between said plug-type connector and the mating plug. In this case, the pressure exerted by the torsion spring legs is transferred to two axially displaceable sliding posts, which are again part of the unlocking apparatus. Furthermore, the unlocking apparatus has two sliding arms, which can be displaced in a tongue-and-groove guide, at least in regions, within corresponding recesses and flush with respect to the side faces of the plug-type connector housing.

Locking apparatus for electrical plug-type connectors

To compensate the lateral offset of an opposing plug, a contact element for a plug-in connector socket has particularly large tolerances. For this purpose, the contact element is embodied in two pieces, a contact spring element for making electrical contact with the opposing plug and a securing element in which the contact spring element is mounted so as to be rotatable about a rotational axis. In contrast to a case in which tolerances depend on deformation of a spring element, by virtue of rotation of the contact spring element no forces act on the soldering points with which the securing element is soldered to a printed circuit board. The contact element is particularly suitable for soldering according to SMT.

A contact spring has two contact arms which are connected at their respective source areas via a bridge and are intended for clamping in and making contact with the mating contact which is to be inserted in an insertion direction. The contact arms are arranged essentially pointing in the opposite direction to the insertion direction of the mating contact running toward one another, and curving away from one another on their free standing end areas. The contact spring has at least one first solder connection which is integrally formed directly on the bridge and faces in the opposite direction to the insertion direction of the mating contact.
