A motor vehicle comprises a motor configured to input and output power for driving; an inverter configured to drive the motor; a power storage device configured to transmit electric power to and from the motor; a system main relay configured to connect and disconnect the power storage device with and from a power line on an inverter-side; and a control device configured to enable the motor vehicle to be driven with turning on the system main relay according to a predetermined procedure in response to a system on-operation. The motor vehicle does not perform failure diagnosis of the inverter when an abnormality signal of the inverter is generated before a predetermined time after the system main relay is turned on in response to the system on-operation, while performing the failure diagnosis when the abnormality signal of the inverter is generated after the predetermined time.

Motor vehicle

There is provided a hybrid vehicle configured to control an engine, a first motor, a second motor and a third motor such as to be driven based on a required torque for driving. When the second motor is undrivable, the hybrid vehicle is configured to control the engine, the first motor and the third motor, such as to provide a higher state of charge of a battery than a state of charge of the battery provided when the second motor is drivable and such as to output a torque from the engine via a planetary gear to one pair of wheels accompanied with output of a torque from the first motor and output a torque from the third motor to the other pair of wheels.

Hybrid vehicle

A driving assistance apparatus, which executes a regeneration increasing control, includes a stop position specifying unit specifying a stop position, a calculation unit calculating a predetermined position at which a speed of the vehicle reduces to a predetermined speed, a determination unit determining a start point of a deceleration distance as a notification position when a distance between an end point of the deceleration distance and the predetermined position satisfies a predetermined condition, a notification unit notifying the driver to turn off the accelerator, and a regeneration control unit starting the regeneration increasing control when the vehicle has travelled the distance that satisfies the predetermined condition from the notification position.

Driving assistance apparatus

A motor controller includes an inter-vehicle sensor detecting an inter-vehicle distance between an own vehicle and a front vehicle, a speed sensor detecting a speed difference between a speed of the own vehicle and a speed of the front vehicle, an accelerator sensor detecting an accelerator pressing quantity, and a control portion controlling a regeneration torque of the motor based on the inter-vehicle distance, the speed difference, and the accelerator pressing quantity. When the control portion determines that the accelerator pressing quantity is less than or equal to a predetermined pressing quantity, the control portion determines that a speed-reduction request is generated. When the control portion determines that the inter-vehicle distance is no more than a first predetermined distance and when the own vehicle is in an approaching state, the control portion increases the regeneration torque of the motor, so as to generate a regeneration braking force.

Motor controller

A Hybrid vehicle has an internal combustion engine, a first motor-generator, i.e., MG, a second MG, a battery section, and a control section. The control section performs first control which transmits power of the first MG to a drive shaft. The control section performs second control which starts the internal combustion engine by generating torque to the internal combustion engine using difference of rotational speeds of the first MG and the second MG, when the battery section fails while performing the first control. In the second control, the control section controls the second MG to generate electric power for driving the first MG. It is possible to provide a hybrid vehicle capable of starting the internal combustion engine even if the battery section becomes abnormal.
