An ultrasound signal processing device performs transmission events by an ultrasound probe having transducer elements, generates a sub-frame acoustic line signal for each transmission event based on reflected ultrasound, and synthesizes sub-frame acoustic line signals to generate a frame acoustic line signal. A transmitter causes the ultrasound probe to transmit ultrasound beams to an ultrasound main irradiation area. A receiver generates receive signals for the transducer elements. A delay-and-sum calculator sets a target area in the ultrasound main irradiation area, and performs delay-and-sum calculation with respect to the receive signals from measurement points in the target area to generate a sub-frame acoustic line signal. The target area has, in a depth range shallower than a focal point, a width in the transducer element array direction that decreases as the depth decreases. A synthesizer synthesizes sub-frame acoustic line signals.

There is provided an X-ray Talbot capturing apparatus that emits X-rays in a cone beam shape from an X-ray generator, capable of producing gratings as easily as possible and of minimizing a production cost. An X-ray Talbot capturing apparatusincludes a G1 grating that is a phase grating, a G2 grating that is an absorption grating, a X-ray generatorthat emits the X-rays, and an X-ray detector that includes a plurality of two-dimensionally arrayed conversion elements and captures a moire image Mo formed on the G2 grating. The G2 grating is located at a position where a self-image of the G1 gratingis formed, and both of the G1 grating and the G2 grating are in a plane shape. Slits of the G1 grating are formed to be perpendicular to a surface direction of a substrate on which the grating is formed, whereas slits of the G2 grating are formed to be parallel with the X-rays emitted in the cone beam shape from a focus F of the X-ray generator.

A medical image system includes: X-ray equipment having a Talbot interferometer or a Talbot-Lau interferometer and including: an X-ray source configured to emit X-rays; a plurality of gratings arranged in a emitting direction of the X-rays; and an X-ray detector irradiated by the X-ray source and having conversion elements for accumulating charge and generating electrical signal to read the electrical signals generated to acquire moire fringe image; a subject absorption image generation unit configured to generate a subject absorption image based on moire fringe images containing a subject; a subjectless absorption image generation unit configured to generate a subjectless absorption image based on subjectless more fringe images; and an image unevenness correction unit configured to correct image unevenness of the subject absorption image, the medical image system further including a subjectless absorption image correction unit, wherein the image unevenness correction unit corrects image unevenness of the subject absorption image.
