The present invention provides a lipase powder composition which comprises a filter aid(s) and a product obtained by pulverizing asp.-derived lipase immobilized to a silica carrier(s) into the average particle diameter of 1 &#x3bc;m or more and less than 300 &#x3bc;m. This lipase powder composition improves the lipase activity and operability and, therefore, can be suitably used in the methods for exchanging esters of fats and oils and for esterification.

The present invention discloses a powdery lipase preparation which is a granulated material comprising a lipase derived fromand/or a lipase derived fromand a soybean powder having a fat content of 5 mass % or more. A lipase activity is improved by using this powdery lipase preparation.

Powdery lipase preparation, method for producing the same and use thereof

The present invention provides a method for producing a ground product of a lipase powder composition comprising an immobilized lipase in which a lipase derived fromsp. is immobilized to a silica carrier and a hydrophilic powder other than a silica carrier, the method comprising the steps of wetting the hydrophilic powder with oil; separating the hydrophilic powder wetted with oil from the oil to obtain an oil-containing hydrophilic powder; mixing the oil-containing hydrophilic powder and the immobilized lipase at a ratio of 0.45:1 to 0.85:1 based on mass of the hydrophilic powder and the immobilized lipase before oil wetting; and grinding the obtained mixture, the steps being conducted in the above order.

Method for producing lipase powder compositions

There is provided a lipase powder which is a granulated material comprising a lipase and at least one member selected from the group consisting of fatty acids having 8 to 12 carbon atoms, alcohol esters thereof, and a mixture thereof. This lipase powder has an increased lipase activity.

A lipase powder which is a granulated substance containing a lipase and a solid content of animal milk, a lipase composition wherein said lipase powder is immersed or impregnated in fatty oil, and a method for producing the lipase powder which comprises the step of adding animal milk or cream derived from the animal milk to an aqueous solution containing a lipase, and the step of spray-drying, freeze-drying or solvent-precipitating the mixture thereof are provided. According to the present invention, a lipase powder of which lipase activity and stability are improved can be provided.

The present invention discloses a method of recovering lipase activity which comprises the steps of using a lipase derived fromsp. and immobilized on a carrier, or a lipase powder composition which comprises a filter aid and the lipase derived fromsp. and immobilized on a carrier which is crushed into the average particle size of 1 &#x3bc;m or larger and smaller than 300 &#x3bc;m in an esterification or transesterification reaction; and washing said lipase or lipase powder composition with triacylglycerol. According to this method, the decreased lipase activity can be effectively recovered.
