According to one embodiment, a display device includes a first scanning line, a second scanning line, an inorganic insulating layer, a first projection located just above the first scanning line and disposed on the inorganic insulating layer, a second projection located just above the second scanning line and disposed on the inorganic insulating layer, a first color filter disposed on the inorganic insulating layer between the first projection and the second projection, an organic insulating layer covering the first projection, the second projection, and the first color filter. A width of the first projection is smaller than a width of the first scanning line. A width of the second projection is smaller than a width of the second scanning line.

According to one embodiment, a liquid crystal device includes a plurality of first light-shielding members arranged at a first pitch, a first organic insulating film covering the first light-shielding members, a plurality of second light-shielding members overlapping the first light-shielding members, a second organic insulating film covering the second light-shielding members, a plurality of third light-shielding members overlapping the second light-shielding members, a third organic insulating film covering the third light-shielding members, and a plurality of first electrodes arranged at a second pitch that is smaller than the first pitch.

Liquid crystal device and display device

According to an aspect, a detection device includes: a substrate having a detection region; a plurality of photodiodes provided in the detection region; a first light-transmitting resin layer provided so as to cover the photodiodes; a light-blocking layer provided on the upper side of the first light-transmitting resin layer and provided with openings in regions overlapping the respective photodiodes; a second light-transmitting resin layer provided so as to cover the light-blocking layer; and a plurality of lenses provided on the upper side of the second light-transmitting resin layer so as to overlap the respective photodiodes. The second light-transmitting resin layer is provided so as to cover an end on a peripheral side of the light-blocking layer on a peripheral side of the substrate.

According to one embodiment, a liquid crystal device includes a first liquid crystal cell and a second liquid crystal cell bonded to the first liquid crystal cell. Each of the first liquid crystal cell and the second liquid crystal cell includes a first substrate, a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer, a sealant bonding the first substrate and the second substrate together, one or more first spacers disposed inside the sealant and holding the gap, and a plurality of second spacers disposed in an effective area surrounded by the sealant and holding the gap.

According to one embodiment, a display device includes a semiconductor layer, a first insulating layer, a gate electrode, a second insulating layer, a third insulating layer, a color filter, and transparent conductive layers including a pixel electrode, a first conductive layer, and a second conductive layer. The first conductive layer is located between the second insulating layer and the third insulating layer, and is in contact with a second area of the semiconductor layer. The second conductive layer is located on the color filter and is in contact with the first conductive layer. The pixel electrode is located on the second conductive layer and is in contact with the second conductive layer.

According to one embodiment, an electronic apparatus comprises a first substrate that includes a sensor element, a first light-shielding layer, and a first pinhole that is provided between the first light-shielding layers adjacent to each other, and a second substrate that includes a second light-shielding layer that is provided in contact with a base, a second pinhole that is provided between the second light-shielding layers adjacent to each other, a third light-shielding layer that is in contact with an insulating layer, a third pinhole that is provided between the third light-shielding layers adjacent to each other, wherein a transparent resin layer is provided inside the third pinhole.

Electronic apparatus

According to one embodiment, a liquid crystal device includes a plurality of light-shielding members arranged at a first pitch in a first direction, a overcoat layer covering the light-shielding members, and a plurality of first electrodes arranged on the overcoat layer in the first direction at a second pitch that is smaller than the first pitch. The light-shielding members are each formed as a wall having a width along the first direction and a thickness that is greater than the width.

Liquid crystal device comprising one or more first spacers disposed inside a sealant and a plurality of second spacers disposed in a display area

According to one embodiment, a display device includes a first substrate, a second substrate opposing the first substrate, a first spacer projecting from the second substrate towards the first substrate and including a distal end portion opposing the first substrate with a gap therebetween, a second spacer projecting from the second substrate towards the first substrate and in contact with the first substrate and an adhesive member adhering the distal end portion and the first substrate together. A total height of the first spacer and the adhesive member is the same as a height of the second spacer.

A liquid crystal display device includes a first substrate, a second substrate, a liquid crystal sandwiched between the substrates, and a display region. A hole portion is formed in the display region. A first seal portion is formed to surround the display region. A second seal portion is formed to surround the hole portion. The first and the second seal portions seal the liquid crystal. The second seal portion has a first end portion on the liquid crystal side and a second end portion on the opposite side of the liquid crystal side. A sealing material is present in the first end portion. A sealing material is present in the second end portion. A wall-like spacer is formed between the first and the second end portions to surround the hole portion. The wall-like spacer defines the gap between the first and the second substrates.

According to one embodiment, a liquid crystal display includes a first substrate, a second substrate including an insulating substrate, a first color filter, a second color filter, a first light-shielding layer, a second light-shielding layer, a first spacer and a second spacer, and a sealing member surrounding the second spacer and including a filler, and the first spacer having a same height as that of the second spacer, being in contact with the first substrate, the filler being interposed between the second spacer and the first substrate, and a thickness from the inner surface of the insulating substrate to a bottom of the second spacer being less than a thickness from the inner surface of the insulating substrate to a bottom of the first spacer.

Display device and color filter substrate

According to one embodiment, a liquid crystal display device includes a first substrate including a switching element and a pixel electrode, a second substrate including an insulating substrate, an organic layer which covers the insulating substrate in a non-display area in a shape of a frame surrounding a display area and comprises a first recess portion formed therein, and a light-shielding layer which covers the first recess portion, a sealing member which attaches the first substrate and the second substrate in the non-display area and a liquid crystal layer disposed in a space surrounded by the first substrate, the second substrate and the sealing member.
