A virtual machine shared by tenants triggers an accept wrapper for an accept operation. The virtual machine, in response to the accept operation bound to a particular address call for binding a particular tenant to a particular IP address and a shared port, creating a first socket to listen to a particular IP address assigned to a particular tenant and creating a second socket to listen to another port. The virtual machine, in response to a connection occurring on the first socket, creating a first thread and forwarding the first thread to the accept wrapper from the particular IP address and in response to the connection occurring on the second socket, creating a second thread and forwarding the second thread to the accept wrapper from the another port. The virtual machine returns at least one of the first thread and the second thread in response to the accept operation call.

Sharing a java virtual machine

A JAVA virtual machine with multiple tenants is shared by allocating an IP address to each of the tenants, creating a separate virtual network interface for each of the tenants and configuring each separate virtual network interface with the respective separate IP address allocated for each tenant. For each of the tenants, network operations are performed via the virtual network interface created for that tenant, to provide for network isolation of each tenant sharing a JAVA virtual machine.

A method for transferring data utilizing direct memory access. The method includes a computer processor establishing a networking connection, using a proxy, between at least a first computing entity and a second computing entity. The method further includes determining a shared memory space for the established networking connection between at least the first computing entity and the second computing entity. The method further includes allocating the shared memory space from heap memory. The method further includes transmitting data over the established networking connection between at least the first computing entity and the second computing entity utilizing a direct memory access protocol and the allocated shared memory space.

Proxy based data transfer utilizing direct memory access

The present invention discloses a method and system for sharing application objects among multiple tenants, wherein the method comprises: identifying objects that can be shared by multiple tenants; merging the objects that can be shared by the multiple tenants; and updating references of the tenants to the shared objects prior to the merging so as to cause the references to point at a merged shared object. The method of the present invention enables the tenants to share application data more efficiently.

Sharing application objects among multiple tenants

A system and method that performs retrofitting and autowiring of service bindings by generating a plurality of retrofitted references from a plurality of resource references and autowiring the plurality of retrofitted references into an application. The system and method deploys the application to an environment in response to the autowiring of the plurality of retrofitted references.
