At the tip of an insert portion of an endoscope, LEDs are provided. An air and liquid supply unit is mounted on a handle portion of the endoscope. The air and liquid supply unit is provided with a tank, a pump, and a battery. Liquid, which is supplied to the tip, is stored in the tank. The battery supplies driving current to the pump and the LEDs. The pump takes in the surrounding air. In accordance with the manipulation of the buttons provided on a grip portion of the endoscope, the pump sends either the liquid or the air to the tip.

Portable endoscope

A discharge pressure measuring device is provided with a discharge pressure measuring system that measures a discharge pressure of the air discharged from a discharging end of an air supplying tube provided to an endoscope. The air discharged by the discharging end is directed to a pressure sensing portion of the discharging pressure measuring system through a pipe. A circuitry for obtaining a voltage representing a true discharge pressure based on a voltage output by the discharge pressure measuring member is provided. A positional relationship of the air discharge portion of the pipe with respect to the pressure sensing portion is changeable.

Air discharge pressure measuring device for endoscope having an air supply tube

An air delivery unit, in which a closed-space is formed, comprises a discharge-mode switch, a pressure switch and a discharge switch. The discharge-mode switch, the pressure switch, and the discharge switch are arranged on an operation panel. The discharge-mode switch is provided for setting a discharge-mode. The pressure switch is provided for setting the pressure in the closed space. The discharge switch is provided for carrying out a discharge of the air in the closed-space. Accordingly, the discharge-mode switch, the pressure switch and the discharge switch are aligned in operation order.

Air delivery unit for endoscope

Inside an endoscope air sending device (,), an air compressor (,), an air tank (,), an air filter (,), a pressure control valve (,), a pressure sensor (,), and a discharge valve (,) are provided so that those elements form a closed space therein. Endoscope air sending device

In a unit support structure of an endoscopic light source apparatus, for supporting a unit disposed in an endoscopic light source apparatus on a chassis of the light source apparatus, one end side of an elastic member which is disposed in substantially parallel with the lower face of the unit is fixed to a projection piece which substantially perpendicularly projects from the lower face of the unit, and the other end side of the elastic member is fixed to a member fixed to the chassis.

Unit support structure of an endoscopic light source apparatus

A light source apparatus for an endoscope having a light source for emitting a bundle of illuminating light rays which are to be supplied to a light guide of the endoscope. The apparatus includes at least a pair of light-blocking plates disposed in the bundle of illuminating light rays to face each other across the optical axis of the ray bundle, and a device for supporting the light-blocking plates such that the plates are rotatable about an axis extending therebetween at right angles to the optical axis. At least one of the light-blocking plates has such a cross-sectional configuration as viewed in the optical axis direction that the light-blocking plate is bent at an angle to the axis of rotation near the center of the illuminating optical path.

Light source apparatus for endoscope

A lamp retainer of a light source device, which retains a light source lamp that has two electrodes, at least one of them being on the side thereof. The lamp retainer comprises an electrically conductive heat sink, and an electrically conductive electrode press device that is attached to the heat sink. The press device is biased to resiliently press the electrode from the side thereof, so that the electrode and the heat sink are electrically connected through the press device.

The rotational motion of the manual control device is transmitted to the pulley by a rotational motion transmitting device at a position which satisfies the conditions of c&gt;a and c&gt;b, wherein b is the distance from the transmitting device to the axis of rotation of the pulley and c is the distance from the transmitting device to the axis of rotation of the manual control device.
