In a protective frame articulated body, a range of an connection angle between the protective frame body and the adjacent protective frame body is determined such that a plurality of protective frame bodies, being connected in series, through which a body to be protected is passed becomes a shape having a first bent portion, an intermediate linear portion being in a portion closer to a movable-side connection than the first bent portion, a suspending portion hanging from the movable-side connection, and a second bent portion connecting the intermediate linear portion and the suspending portion. In intermediate linear portion, a long-and-short ratio being a value obtained by dividing a long side of a smallest rectangle surrounding the protective frame body viewed from a side by a short side of the smallest rectangle is greater than or equal to a determined intermediate minimum long-and-short ratio.

A support apparatus includes: a protective frame connected body to hold a plurality of protection targets flexibly, each protection target being a flexible cable or pipe having one end connected to a fixed-side member and the other end connected to a movable-side member that moves relative to the fixed-side member, the protective frame connected body having a bending portion bent in a middle, an upper side and a lower side of the protective frame connected body overlapped vertically; a lower supporter to support the lower side of the protective frame connected body; and a plurality of upper supporters, each of the plurality of upper supporters supporting the upper side of the protective frame connected body at a predetermined position of the protective frame connected body and being moved by movement of the movable-side member to pass the bending portion without being in contact with the bending portion.

A base isolation unit comprises a first connector and a second connector disposed in a direction of base isolation with a predetermined distance therebetween, and a movement regulator provided between the first connector and the second connector and receiving an external force in the direction of base isolation. The movement regulator includes a first casing having one end connected to the first connector, a second casing having one end connected to the second connector, a first damping device accommodated inside the first casing, a second damping device accommodated inside the second casing, a vibration damper provided between the first casing and the second casing, and a coupling member coupling the first damping device and the second damping device together. The first damping device and the second damping device each have a cylinder, a compressible fluid and a piston.

Provided is an insertion guide that performs accurate rotation correction between a shaft and a hole and phase correction between the shaft and hole. The shaft includes: a first guide portion at a distal end of the shaft having a diameter smaller than a diameter of the hole; a second guide portion, provided on a base end side of a first narrow cylindrical portion, and having a diameter smaller than the diameter of the hole and larger than a diameter of the first narrow cylindrical portion; and a third guide portion, provided at the distal end of the shaft, and is a recessed portion to be engaged with a protruding portion formed in the hole. The shaft being inclined with respect to the hole, is brought into contact with the hole at two points or less before the third guide portion is brought into contact with the protruding portion.

A mirror replacement device includes a gripping mechanism to grip a segment mirror, a fine drive mechanism to change a position and a posture of the gripping mechanism, a lift mechanism for the segment mirror, a first detector to detect a relative position and a relative posture between a comparison object and a target object, a second detector to detect a bend of the fine drive mechanism, and a mirror replacement controller to replace the segment mirror based on detection signals output from the above-mentioned detectors. The controller determines whether the first detector can successfully perform a measurement. When it is determined that the measurement can be successfully performed, the control is performed based on the detection signal output from the first detector. When it is determined that the measurement cannot be successfully performed, the control is performed based on the detection signal output from the second detector.

Mirror replacement device for a segmented mirror telescope and mirror replacement method thereof

A preload guide system guides, in a horizontal plane, movement of a rotation structure having journals rotating around a rotation axis having a horizontal rotation shaft. At right-side surfaces of the journals, guide bearing components press predetermined positions on the same side with respect to an axial-direction reference plane and rotatably support the journals. At left-side surfaces of the journals, guide bearing components press positions corresponding to the guide bearing components at the right side surfaces, and rotatably support the journals. The support systems adjust displacement amounts of the guide bearing components such that a sum of the displacement amounts becomes zero.

Preload guide system and rotation structure

A base isolation unit includes a vibration-source connector to be connected with a structure subjected to seismic vibration, an isolated-object connector to be connected with an object to be isolated from vibration, and located at a predetermined distance from the vibration-source connector in a predetermined base isolation direction, and a movement regulator. The movement regulator is located between the vibration-source connector and the isolated-object connector and includes an elastic body applied with a preload and subjected to a pressure caused by an external force in the base isolation direction. The movement regulator keeps the distance unchanged when the external force is equal to or less the preload, and changes the distance by making the vibration-source connector movable when the external force exceeds the preload. The base isolation unit is usable repeatedly and in environments without electricity, and achieving isolation from seismic vibration while keeping stiffness in conditions other than earthquakes.

In a lower-side-columnar-conductor installing process, a first columnar sub-conductor (), a second columnar sub-conductor (), and a first main columnar conductor () are set up individually, and the first main columnar conductor () is disposed between the first columnar sub-conductor () and the second columnar sub-conductor (). In a U-shaped-conductor fastening process, the upper-side end portion of the first columnar sub-conductor () is arranged facing one end of a U-shaped conductor () bent in a U-shape, the upper-side end portion of the second columnar sub-conductor () is arranged facing the other end of the U-shaped conductor (), and the center portion of the U-shaped conductor () is fastened to the tip portion of a second main columnar conductor ().

An antenna device includes: an antenna base portion; an antenna mount portion which is supported by the antenna base portion and rotated around an azimuth axis and which supports a main reflector with two struts; a frame structure group including a plurality of frame structures which are provided in the antenna base portion and the antenna mount portion, with six degrees of freedom restrained, respectively; a displacement gauge group which measures a displacement of the frame structure group; a metrology correction portion which calculates a pointing error of an antenna based on measured data of the displacement gauge group and calculates a metrology correction amount by removing an error amount arising depending on an azimuth angle from the calculated pointing error; and a control circuit which controls a driving of the antenna by correcting a drive command value of the antenna with the metrology correction amount.

Antenna device

A link-mechanism base is prepared within a yoke portion, and a link member is prepared in connection with the base within left and right supports. The link member connects the upper part of the supports or the upper part of the yoke portion, and the link-mechanism base. The displacement and angle of rotation of the upper part of the yoke portion are measured by using these link-mechanism base and link member, thereby measuring a change in the pointing direction of a reflector.
