A controlled release particle includes a core formed by suspension polymerization of a core ingredient component containing an antibiotic compound and a first polymerizable vinyl monomer, and containing a first polymer of the first polymerizable vinyl monomer and the antibiotic compound present in the first polymer; and a shell formed by suspension polymerization of a second polymerizable vinyl monomer having affinity with water of the same or higher than that of the first polymerizable vinyl monomer, containing a second polymer obtained from the second polymerizable vinyl monomer, and covering the core.

Controlled release particles

A controlled release particle includes a core containing an antibiotic compound, and a shell covering the core. The controlled release particle is obtained by a production method including a first step in which a first component containing an antibiotic compound and a polymerizable vinyl monomer is subjected to suspension polymerization to form the core containing the antibiotic compound and a polymer of the polymerizable vinyl monomer; and a second step in which a second component containing a shell-forming component is subjected to interfacial polymerization to form a shell, wherein in the second step, the interfacial polymerization is started simultaneously with the start of the suspension polymerization of the first step, or started after the start of the suspension polymerization of the first step.

Controlled release particles and method for producing the same

A freeze-thawing tank assembly includes an upright vessel having a hollow defined therein for accommodating therein a quantity of fluid medium to be treated. The vessel is closed at an upper end by a lid and at a lower end by a normally closed discharge valve. A plurality of double-walled structures are accommodated within the hollow of the vessel in equally spaced and parallel relation with each other. Each of the double-walled structures has a fluid passage defined therein for the flow of a heat-exchanging fluid medium and also has a fluid inlet and outlet communicated with the fluid passage. The invention thus provides a core-shell polymer comprising a core phase which is rubbery polymer and a shell phase which is a glassy polymer with an unsaturated dicarboxylic acid or its mono-alkyl ester as a constituent thereof, wherein the toluene-soluble fraction of the core-shell polymer accounts for not more than 10% by weight. It also provides polyamide resin compositions comprising said core-shell polymer and molded articles produced by molding said compositions. The resin compositions and molded articles which comprises the core-shell polymer as an impact modifier have good features, especially a high impact strength at temperature ranging from room temperature to -30.degree. A multi-layered polymer having (a) a core layer of an aromatic vinyl polymer, (b) an intermediate layer of a butadienic rubbery polymer and (c) an outer layer of an aromatic vinyl glassy polymer, the amount of the components (a), (b) and (c) being 12 to 42 weight %, 48 to 78 weight % and 10 to 40 weight %, respectively, provides a thermoplastic resin composition excellent not only in impact strength, especially in impact strength at low temperatures, but also in, in the case of containing a coloring agent, color-stability including less mottlings, and giving a molded article improved in preventing occurrence of delamination around the gate region.

Core-shell polymer, production and use thereof

The present invention relates to a core-shell polymer which is useful for polyoxymethylene resin, a polyoxymethylene resin composition containing the core-shell polymer and a molded article made of the polyoxymethylene resin. The core-shell polymer is produced by an emulsion polymerization reaction using an oligomeric surfactant and a neutral radicals-liberating polymerization initiator. A polymer particle is provided comprising a rubbery polymer and a methacrylic glassy polymer as formed in latex interpenetrating polymer networks structure, which is prepared by swelling a rubbery polymer with a swelling solvent and carrying out an emulsion polymerization reaction of methacrylic monomers in the presence of said swollen rubbery polymer. Also provided are a resin composition comprising the polymer particles, such as poly (alkylene terephthate) resin melt-blended with the polymer particles, and a molded article of the resin composition. The molded article has a high impact-strength.
