A heat-transfer member () is used in a cooling system in which an alcohol serves as a coolant. The heat-transfer member () has: a heat-receiving surface () configured such that it can receive heat from a heat-generating body; and a heat-dissipating surface () configured such that it can dissipate, to the coolant, the heat received at the heat-receiving surface (). The heat-dissipating surface () has a plurality of pores () whose average pore diameter is 5 nm or more and 1,000 nm or less. A cooling system can be configured by causing the coolant to contact the heat-dissipating surface () of the heat-transfer member ().

Production method of aluminum using hydrate

A method for producing electrolytic aluminum foil according to the present disclosure is a method for producing electrolytic aluminum foil, comprising steps of depositing an aluminum film on a surface of a cathode in an electrolytic cell supplied with an electrolytic solution and comprising the cathode; and peeling the deposited aluminum film from the surface of the cathode to provide aluminum foil, wherein the cathode has surface roughness of an arithmetic average roughness (Ra) of 0.10 to 0.40 &#x3bc;m and a ten-point average roughness (Rz) of 0.20 to 0.70 &#x3bc;m.
