Provided is an electrolytic capacitor including: a capacitor element including an anode body, a dielectric layer formed on the anode body, a solid electrolyte layer formed on the dielectric layer, and a cathode layer formed on the solid electrolyte layer; lead terminals each connected to the anode body and the cathode layer; and a packaging member covering at least part of the capacitor element. The packaging member includes a side wall that is electrically conductive, and a bottom face, with at least one of the lead terminals partially exposed from the bottom face. An insulating member is interposed between a first end of the side wall and the lead terminal exposed from the bottom face, the first end being near the bottom face.

Measuring method of component concentration in solution

A remote monitoring system for instrumentation that is capable of measuring certain characteristics of a process such as a pH value includes an instrument for providing a measurement output signal which can be stored. A comparison circuit can compare the output signal with a predetermined value. A transmitter can transmit when the output signal exceeds the predetermined value, and a receiver can receive the output signal and convert it into a measured result. The instrumentation can be pulled from the receiver and the output signals can be encoded to identify a particular instrument with distinct transmission time periods available in a plurality of transmitting channels.

An improved ion-selective electrode assembly and method of preparing the same includes providing a substrate of an insulating material which has a laminated polyethylene terephthalate film layer over an electrically conductive layer. A series of adhering layers is applied over the film layer, with the layer farthest from the substrate being a deoximation silicone room temperature vulcanizing adhesive. Gelatinized internal liquid is positioned in an aperture over the electrically conductive layer, and an ion-responsive glass sheet seals the assembly.

Ion-selective electrode and method of producing the same

The present invention is characterized by a solid body disposed so that a remarkably small gap may be formed between it and a surface of an electrode. A super-thin liquid membrane is formed in the small gap by an interfacial tension of a liquid. An object to be measured is applied to or acted upon either the solid body or the super-thin liquid membrane. An electric signal due to the physical properties of the super-thin liquid membrane itself or an electric signal due to a chemical or physical reaction, which is generated on an interface of the solid body and the super-thin liquid membrane and diffused through the super-thin liquid membrane itself, is detected by means of the electrode to measure the physical properties of the object to be measured.
