An electric fan includes a boss part; an outer peripheral part around the boss part; a rotor blade between the boss part and the outer peripheral part and rotatably supported about the boss part; a drive unit on the outer peripheral part to rotate the rotor blade; and a stator vane on a downstream side of the rotor blade in a flowing direction of fluid between the boss part and the outer peripheral part. The stator vane includes main bodies spaced apart in a peripheral direction, and one of the main bodies that is in a region where an obstacle is disposed on a radially outside is provided with a guide part that guides fluid to an inner diameter side, on a leading edge part on an upstream side in the flowing direction of fluid or an end portion on a suction surface side, on the inner diameter side.

Electric fan and electric vertical takeoff/landing aircraft

An electric fan includes: an electric motor that includes an output shaft extending along an axis line and a tubular housing centered on the axis line; an inner duct provided on a downstream side of the electric motor; a plurality of blades mounted on the output shaft; and a cooling member having a plurality of fins provided on an outer peripheral surface of the housing.

A propulsion device includes: a duct in which a flow path extending in a direction of an axis; a fan which is provided with a) an outer peripheral ring formed in an annular shape surrounding the axis and installed to be relatively rotatable around the axis with respect to the duct, b) a plurality of fan blades arranged at intervals in a circumferential direction such that each blade is extended from the outer peripheral ring toward the inside of the flow path, and c) an inner peripheral ring formed in an annular shape being connected radially inner end portions of the plurality of fan blades and in which an air flow passage is formed so that air flows therethrough in the direction of the axis; and a motor which drives the fan to rotate around the axis.

Propulsion device

Sectional profiles close to a tipand a part between a midportionand a hubare shifted to the upstream of an operating fluid flow in a sweep direction. Accordingly, an S shape is formed in which the tipand the part between the midportionand the hubprotrude. As a result, it is possible reduce various losses due to shook, waves, thereby forming a transonic airfoil having an excellent aerodynamic characteristic.

Transonic airfoil and axial flow rotary machine

An axial-flow fluid machine blade which achieves reduction of the frictional loss of the blade and provision of a high surge-resistant property is provided. An axial-flow fluid machine bladeused for an axial-flow fluid machine includes a leading edgeprojecting at the tip portion and the root portion thereof toward the upstream side and a trailing edgeprojecting at the tip portion, the mid-span portion and the root portion thereof toward the downstream side.
