A method for refurbishing service-degraded gas turbine component can recover the microstructure of the alloy of the gas turbine component, whose material is deteriorated or damaged after its operation, to the extent that is equivalent or more than the characteristic at the time of its manufacture. The method comprises performing a recovery heat treatment, performing a solution heat treatment, and performing an aging heat treatment. The recovery heat treatment heat-treats the component under a predetermined pressure, which is higher than normal pressure, wherein the temperature of the component is increased to a predetermined temperature under the predetermined pressure. The solution heat treatment is processed under reduced pressure or inert gas atmosphere after the recovery heat treatment. The aging heat treatment is processed under reduced pressure or inert gas atmosphere after the recovery heat treatment.

Method for refurbishing a service-degraded component of a gas turbine

An apparatus for correcting deformation of a gas turbine blade includes a stationary die fixed to a backside of a tip shroud of a gas turbine blade to hold a back surface thereof and a pressing die pressing a front surface of the tip shroud so as to press the tip shroud of the blade between the pressing die and the stationary. A hydraulic drive mechanism including pressure generator is arranged for pressing the pressing die against the tip shroud held by the stationary die and a control device is operatively connected to the hydraulic drive mechanism so as to set and indicate a driving condition on a basis of deformation correction data preliminarily stored in the control device.

Apparatus and method of correcting deformation of gas turbine blade

Structure with elements includes a main body of the element used in gas stream and a plurality of fluid passage. Each outlet of the fluid passage is opened on surface of the main body. Coolant fluid flows from each outlet through the passage to cover the surface as a film-like fluid. The plurality of fluid passages include first fluid passages and second fluid passages. The coolant fluid flows from the outlet of the first fluid passage along the direction of the gas stream on the surface. On the other hand, the coolant fluid also flows from the outlet of the second fluid passage toward the gas stream neighbored on each outlet of the first fluid passage.

Cooling system for a main body used in a gas stream

A combined cycle power plant comprises a gas turbine system and a steam cycle system having a steam turbine to be driven by the steam generated by the waste heat of the exhaust gas of the gas turbine system, wherein the steam from the steam cycle system flows through a gas turbine cooling system of the gas turbine to cool the gas turbine blades and other elements of the gas turbine system to be cooled and the waste heat of the gas turbine system is effectively collected. The gas turbine cooling system is supplied selectively with bleed air from the compressor of the gas turbine or the steam provided from another steam cycle system in order to ensure a sufficient coolant supply at the time of starting and stopping the plant and during the operation with a partial load.

The gas turbine cooling system has two or more than two cooling ducts formed in two or more than two elements of the gas turbine system to be cooled such as the gas turbine blades and the combustor of the gas turbine system so that steam is made to flow through the cooling ducts of these two or more than two elements to be cooled to effectively and maximally exploit the cooling potential and the waste heat collecting potential of the steam and hence improve the overall thermal efficiency of the plant.
