An engine-driven working machine capable of suppressing vibration, and further securing output power of an engine is provided. An engine-driven working machineis a generator in which an outer caseis formed to be substantially rectangular in plan view that extends in a longitudinal direction, and an engineis housed in an insideof the outer case. In the generator, a crankshaftis disposed to intersect the longitudinal direction of the outer case. Further, an intake portand an exhaust portare disposed in the longitudinal direction of the outer case. Furthermore, a carburetoris disposed at a side of the intake port, and a muffleris disposed at a side of the exhaust port

Engine-driven working machine

The present invention provides an air cooling means forcibly cools inside of an operation box of controlling an engine generator by using engine cooling air. An engine generator has a generator driven by an engine and an operation box housing a controller for the generator. The engine is cooled by a fan. The operation box has an upper opening for taking outside air and a lower opening for exhausting air to the outside from the operation box. The lower opening is disposed so as to be oriented to the cooling air flow generated by the fan. A bottom plate of the operation box is disposed obliquely to an air intake port for taking air to the engine by the cooling fan for the engine, and the lower opening is opened in the bottom plate.

Engine operating machine

An engine generator accommodating an engine and a generator inside a case. A first stationary handle that extends in the width direction is mounted in the rear section of the case. A second stationary handle is mounted on the upper front part of the case. A draw handle is provided so as to swing in the vertical direction in relation to the second stationary handle. The second stationary handle is manually grasped and the engine generator is moved. The first and second stationary handles are grasped and the engine generator is lifted. The draw handle is pulled to move the engine generator.

Engine generator

An engine generator having a high-rigidity rigid skeletal member. A bottom cover supports the engine/generator unit. A wall-shaped vertical frame is disposed transversely of the engine generator in a front section of the bottom cover and rising from the bottom cover front section. A T-shaped center frame extends between a rear section of the bottom cover and the vertical frame. The skeletal member includes the bottom cover, the vertical frame and the center frame.

In an engine generating machine, a power-generating unit constructed by integration of the an engine and a generator, is housed in a case including an undercover and a pair of left and right side covers. A pair of reinforcing frames are coupled at their lower ends to the undercover and extend upwards along inner surfaces of the left and right side covers. The reinforcing frames have upper ends coupled to each other and are commonly fastened to a carrying handle. A fuel tank is supported inside the reinforcing frames, and a fuel pump and a fuel cock are mounted on the reinforcing frames. Thus, the maintenance of a fuel supply system for the engine can be facilitated, and the fuel tank can be protected while avoiding an increase in weight.
