An electrical conductor support insulator for passing through and supporting a main circuit conductor within a hole of the conductor support insulator. When the main circuit conductor is an electrical insulating material, all portions except for the conductor connection portion are insulated, so that no bare live portion is present and space insulation distance is made short.

Electrical conductor support insulator

A gas-insulated switchgear having three gas-insulated hermetic vessels containing a disconnector for disconnecting a circuit and shunt conductors connected in parallel to each other between the disconnectors of the three hermetic vessels. The shunt conductors each include a conductor having terminal portions extending through and penetrating into the hermetic vessels and a main body portion connected and shunted between the terminal portions for parallel distributing an electric power from a first hermetic vessel to second and third hermetic vessels, an insulating material covering the main body portion and an electrically conductive coating disposed on an outer surface of the insulating material and grounded. The main body portion of the conductor is disposed outside of the hermetic vessels.

Gas-insulated switchgear

A gas-filled switching apparatus has a gas-filled sealed container having a container body with a neck which surrounds an opening and a flange which extends outwards from the neck. A cover is disposed on the flange to cover the opening, and a gasket is disposed between the cover and the flange to form a seal around the opening. A plurality of clamps detachably secure the cover to the flange. Each clamp includes an adjustable pressing member exerting a clamping force on the cover and the flange.

Gas-filled switching apparatus

An insulative tube (93) of a switch is molded with an inserted tubular condutor (15), and a sliding contact (14) provided on outer surface of a piston (7) slides on an inner surface of the tubular conductor (15); the insulative tube (3) is thereby reinforced against the pressure of an insulation gas sealed in the insulative tube (3). The piston (7) and the tubular conductor (15) are electrically connected in a stable manner and undesirable tottering of moving contacts (8), (16) mounted on the piston (7) can be prevented.
