A forward-tilting protruding piece leans forward toward an upstream side in a gas flow direction. A rearward-tilting protruding piece is disposed downstream of the forward-tilting protruding piece and leans rearward toward a downstream side in the gas flow direction. The forward-tilting protruding piece is in a shape of a four- or more-sided polygon including a base side in contact with a peripheral surface of the gas passage and a pair of left and right sides. The base side is oriented obliquely with respect to a direction perpendicular to the gas flow direction. The angle of one of the sides which is located on the upstream side in the gas flow direction with respect to the base side is larger than the angle of the other of the sides which is located on the downstream side in the gas flow direction with respect to the base side.

Heat exchanger

A first projection plate and a second projection plate of each segment of first plurality of segments cause gas flowing into each segment to flow out from each segment while causing rotation in the gas in different directions with respect to a rotational axis in a gas flow direction and then flow into each of two segments of second plurality of segments adjacent in a perpendicular direction to the gas flow direction.

In a vehicle air conditioning apparatus in which a plurality of air mixing dampers that are driven independently of each other have a drive shaft having a double-shaft structure. A hollow drive shaft of one damper is penetrated by a solid drive shaft of another damper. A first shaft-center immobilizing mechanism that secures a shaft center of the hollow drive shaft is provided between a side surface of the unit casing, to which the drive shaft having the double-shaft structure is supported in a freely rotatable manner. And a gear provided at a shaft end of the hollow drive shaft.

Double-shaft damper assembly for vehicle air conditioning apparatus

Provided is a vehicle air conditioning device, in which a plurality of blow-off mode switching dampers are turned by a link mechanism, for enabling selective switching of blow-off modes, the link mechanism including: levers respectively provided to rotating shafts; and a turnable link including a plurality of cam grooves on each of which a pin provided to each lever slides. A rail portion is provided in any one of an inner side surface of the cam groove and an outer peripheral surface of each pin, and the cam groove and the pin are in contact with each other through the rail portion. Accordingly, it is possible to suppress abnormal noise that is generated when foreign substances are caught in a sliding surface (rail surface) between the cam groove and the pin.

Vehicle air conditioning device

A centrifugal blower includes a centrifugal fan; an electric motor that rotationally drives the centrifugal fan; a fan case that has an air inlet and an air outlet and that internally accommodates the centrifugal fan; and an electric motor case () that has a cylinder () accommodating the electric motor and a flange portion () extending radially outward from the cylinder () and that is fitted to the fan case. The flange portion () is provided with a ring-shaped rib portion () that protrudes from the flange portion (); the ring-shaped rib portion () is provided with a plurality of slits (and) that extend from the flange portion () in the axial direction of the cylinder (); and the flange portion () between the ring-shaped rib portion () and the cylinder () is inclined in a circumferential direction toward the slits (and).

Centrifugal blower and vehicle air conditioner provided with the same

A vehicular air conditioner capable of reducing high-frequency sounds generated when an air mix damper is slightly opened and finely adjusting the temperature around the maximum heating position for improving the temperature controllability is provided. The vehicular air conditioner including an air mix damper that adjusts a flow rate of air delivered into a heating passage including a heater core after being passed through an evaporator and a flow rate of air delivered into a bypass passage that bypasses the heater core. In the vehicular air conditioner, a plurality of asperity portions are formed on a distal-end-side surface of the damper in the width direction of the damper, at which the damper is in contact with a seal surface on a unit case at the maximum heating position, and an elastic insulator having a predetermined thickness is attached to the asperity portions to form asperities similar thereto.

Provided is a vehicle air conditioner which includes a simple water-proofing structure that is capable of preventing flooding of a vehicle cabin from mating surfaces, etc. of expansion-valve covers and top and bottom divided cases of an air conditioning unit (HVAC unit) without employing a water-proofing cover, or the like. In a vehicle air conditioner in which expansion-valve covers (and) that are horizontally divided into two parts are provided at an outer surface side of top and bottom divided cases of an air conditioning unit disposed in the vehicle cabin so as to bridge mating surfaces of the cases; an expansion valve can be disposed inside the expansion-valve covers (and); and, in addition, the interior of the expansion-valve covers (and) communicates with an engine compartment via an opening provided in a toe board, step portions () in which inner surface sides () are made lower and outer surface sides () are made higher are formed at the top and bottom mating surfaces of the expansion-valve covers (and).

Vehicle air conditioner case

A vehicle air-conditioner control system according to the present invention activates an air conditioner in response to a command from an air-conditioner remote controller before a passenger is onboard, controls the air conditioner based on a heat load detected by a heat load detector, controls the air conditioner to be set in a silent mode so as not to make the passenger feel uncomfortable due to an air-conditioning wind when a passenger-proximity determiner determines that the passenger is proximate to the vehicle.

Vehicle air-conditioner control system

An automotive heat exchanging system has a heat exchanger comprising a condenser and a radiator, an electric fan located in the front of an engine and an automatic transmission. A shroud is attached to and covers peripheral portions of the electric fan and the heat exchanger to prevent air from bypassing the shutter. The shroud forms an air passage inside of it for allowing airflow through the heat exchanger to flow toward the automatic transmission. A shutter is disposed in the shroud and attached at a periphery of the shroud. The shutter is controlled to open and close the air passage by a controller based on oil temperature.

Automotive heat exchanging system

An exhaust-heat recovery system includes a catalytic converter, an exhaust heat exchanger, an air conditioner and an engine controller. The catalytic converter is such that exhaust discharged from an engine passes therethrough and combustible components in the exhaust are catalytically burned therein. The exhaust heat exchanger induces heat exchange between the exhaust having passed through the catalytic converter and a coolant having passed through the engine. The air conditioner generates a heating wind by means of the heat exchange between the coolant having passed through the exhaust heat exchanger and an air conditioning wind. The engine controller controls incrementally the combustible components in the exhaust to be burned in the catalytic converter when a prescribed heating condition is unsatisfied.

Exhaust-heat recovery system for engine

The vehicle air-conditioner includes a noncontact detector configured to detect skin temperatures at specific locations on a face of a passenger. The vehicle air-conditioner includes a calculator configured to calculate an average temperature on the face of the passenger. The vehicle air-conditioner includes a decision maker configured to decide whether the skin temperatures are within a deviation from the average temperature. The vehicle air-conditioner includes a controller configured to exclude skin temperatures over the deviation and to respond to skin temperatures within the deviation for controlling air-conditioning.

Vehicle air-conditioner

An air conditioning apparatus includes a valve for selectively introducing the coolant discharged from a compressor to either a flow path for a water-coolant heat exchanger or another flow path to avoid the heat exchanger, a thermostat for detecting the temperature of a cooling water flowing into an engine and a controller for controlling the valve. When the temperature of the cooling water is equal to or less than a predetermined temperature, the controller controls the valve so that the coolant discharged from the compressor is introduced to the water-coolant heat exchanger. When the temperature of the cooling water is more than the predetermined temperature, the controller controls the valve so that the coolant discharged from the compressor avoids the water-coolant heat exchanger.

Vehicle control system

A vehicle control system capable of achieving improvement in fuel efficiency by performing optimum control over an engine in consideration of power load applied onto an engine by auxiliary machines. An engine control amplifier includes: a temperature-dependent engine control section that controls a fuel consumption amount of an engine based on at least one of a water temperature and an oil temperature of the engine ; a power-dependent engine control section that controls the fuel consumption amount of the engine based on an electric power mainly consumed by a cooling motor fan in a vehicle; and an airconditioning-dependent engine control section that controls the fuel consumption amount of the engine based on a refrigerant discharge rate of an airconditioning compressor , and the engine control amplifier derives the combination of controls over the auxiliary machines that minimizes the fuel consumption amount of the engine by an optimizing technique, to control the auxiliary machines.
