An imaging lens and an imaging device furnished with same, including a first lens group having a positive refractive power, a second lens group having a positive refractive power, and a third lens group having a negative refractive power, disposed in sequence from the object side, wherein zooming from a point at infinity to an object at the near point is performed by moving the second lens group along an optical axis toward the object side while affixing the first lens group and third lens group, and satisfying predetermined conditional expressions.

A zoom lens including a front group and a rear group, wherein a lens group arranged on an object side of a widest air interval at a wide-angle end is defined as the front group and a lens group arranged on an image side of the widest air interval at the wide-angle end is defined as the rear group, the front group having a negative refractive power, the rear group having a positive refractive power. Changing focal length from the wide-angle end to the telephoto end is performed by changing an air interval between the lens groups.

Zoom lens and imaging apparatus

The present invention addresses a problem of providing a zoom lens which achieves a longer focal length and has a shorter optical overall length at the telephoto end, and an imaging apparatus provided with the zoom lens. In order to solve the problem, a zoom lens is configured to include, in order from the object side, a positive first lens group G, a negative second lens group G, a positive composite positive lens group, and a negative composite negative lens group. The composite positive lens group includes a positive third lens group G, and is consisting of one or more lens groups having positive refractive power. The composite negative lens group includes a negative A lens group and a negative B lens group having negative refractive power. In the zoom lens, changing focal length is performed by varying distances between the lens groups, and a predetermined condition is satisfied.
