A charging port structure includes a guide plate, and is configured such that a release lever of a port cap can be prevented from being exposed to water even when water has flowed into a port housing. The guide plate receives water that has flowed into a port housing from the periphery of a port lid for covering a forward opening part of the port housing so as to be capable of opening and closing. The port housing surrounds a charging port having an end connection to which a charging connector for supplying electric power from an outside power source is connected, and guides the water away from where the release lever is disposed for opening the port cap for covering the end connection of the charging port so as to be capable of opening and closing. The guide plate is disposed above the charging port.

Charging port structure

A charging port structure is provided to prevent unauthorized access. The charging port structure includes a charging port, a port lid, a port lid lock mechanism, a body opening lid, a body opening lid lock mechanism, an electric unlocking mechanism and a manual unlocking structure. The port lid opens and closes a front opening of a port housing having the charging port. The port lid lock mechanism maintains the port lid in a closed state. The body opening lid opens and closes a vehicle body opening. The body opening lid lock mechanism maintains the body opening lid in a closed state. The body opening lid lock mechanism is unlocked from inside a passenger compartment. The electric unlocking mechanism unlocks the port lid lock mechanism. The manual unlocking structure enables the port lid lock mechanism to be unlocked by a manual operation from the vehicle body opening.

An external charging structure for an electric vehicle is provided with a normal charging port to be connected with a charging gun, and a charging port lid that closes when charging is not occurring to cover an opening of a port chamber where the normal charging port is disposed and opens when charging is occurring to ensure an open space allowing a port connection with the charging gun. In the external charging structure of the electric vehicle, the charging gun has a locking part for holding a port coupling in a position of electrical connection, and an unlocking operation part placed projecting from a surface of the gun and used for unlocking by a push operation. A first-striking part is disposed on a rear surface of the charging port lid, the first-striking part coming in contact with a location other than the unlocking operation part ahead of where contact would be made with the unlocking operation part when the charging port lid is closed toward the charging gun during charging.

An arrangement structure for a charging port cover includes a charging port () having a normal charging inlet () in a charging port opening portion (), a lid () that covers the charging port opening portion () and is openable and closable on a vehicle body, and a charging port cover () attached to the lid () in an opened state to cover open sections between the charging port opening portion () and the lid (). The charging port cover () is attached to the lid () via a lid-side striker () serving as an engaging member.

Arrangement structure for charging port cover

A charging port cover including a cover body closing an open part formed between an opening-closing body and a vehicle body in a state where the opening-closing body is opened when a charging gun is attached to a charging inlet and charging for a vehicle-mounted battery is performed, the opening-closing body capable of opening and closing an opening portion which is provided in the vehicle body and includes the charging inlet. The cover body includes a cover-side engaging member and a cover-side engaged member which engage respectively with an engaged member and an engaging member configured to engage with the engaged member, the engaged member and the engaging member being configured to engage and lock the closed opening-closing body with the vehicle body. The cover-side engaging member and the cover-side engaged member are integrated with each other by a joining member.

Charging port cover and charging port structure

An arrangement structure for a charging port cover includes a charging port () having a charging inlet () in a charging port opening portion () provided on a vehicle body, and a lid () that covers the charging port opening portion and is openable and closable on the vehicle body. The arrangement structure further includes a charging port cover () attached to the lid in an opened state to cover open sections () between the charging port opening portion and the lid. The lid is fixed to the vehicle body by hinges () in an openable and closable manner. The open sections are located in side portions of the lid and the charging port opening portion in an axis direction (X) of the hinges and in a front portion in a direction (Y) orthogonal to the axis direction of the hinges.

Provided is a fitting adjustment structure for a lid in which, before a frame and a lid are incorporated into an opening portion, a height of a stopper can be adjusted with the lid being closed, to thereby eliminate the need for adjustment after the incorporation. The fitting adjustment structure for the lid includes: the opening portion formed on a panel; the lid which turns to open and close the opening portion; and the frame which is placed along a periphery of the opening portion, and supports the lid, in which: a screw hole is pierced in the frame; a stopper having an upper surface which abuts against a rear surface of the lid in a closed state is screwed with the screw hole; and a turning operation portion engageable with a rotating tool is provided at a lower end of the stopper.

Fitting adjustment structure for a lid

A four-bar linkage is provided with an opened position holding mechanism. The opened position holding mechanism includes: an engagement pin which protrudes in a rear end portion of a second hinge arm; a support pin which protrudes in a base end portion of an extending portion of a link bracket; a hook bracket having a central portion which is turnably supported by the support pin; and an urging spring which pulls the hook bracket in one direction with respect to the support pin as the center. The hook bracket includes: a guide surface; and an engagement concave portion to be engaged with the engagement pin. The guide surface hits against the engagement pin in accordance with a lid opening operation, and a hit position therebetween relatively moves in a central direction in accordance with a turn with respect to the support pin as the center performed against the pulling force of the urging spring.
