A thick film thermal head includes a substrate which is provided with a linear groove and is heat-conductive at least at a part of the surface facing the groove. An elongated resistance heater is embedded in the groove to be in contact with the part of the surface of the substrate at which the substrate is heat-conductive, and a plurality of electrodes are formed on the surface of the substrate in contact with the resistance heater and arranged in the longitudinal direction of the resistance heater.

Thick film thermal head

A printing machine includes a plurality of printing sections installed in a frame. Each printing section has a print head to print patterns on a print paper and a mechanism to feed print paper. The printing machine includes a print data input section configured to receive an input signal corresponding to a many-sheet print data of the patterns to be printed on the print paper; a print data allocation section configured to allocate the many-sheet print data to each printing section in units of pages; a fed paper delivery section configured to deliver print paper to each of the plurality of printing sections; and an ejected paper delivery section configured to deliver paper ejected from each of the plurality of printing sections in a desired sequence to a common output location.

Printing machine having print heads and control method thereof

A thick film thermal head includes an electrical insulating substrate and a photosensitive material layer which is formed on the substrate and is provided with a linear groove formed on a surface thereof by exposing it to light. An elongated resistance heater is embedded in the groove, and a plurality of electrodes are formed on the surface of the photosensitive material layer in contact with the resistance heater and arranged in the longitudinal direction of the resistance heater.

A method for cleaning a thermal printing head, particularly in use for perforating stencil sheets, is provided, which does not require a special stencil sheet nor damage the thermal printing head, but makes it possible to remove deposits as required. The method is a method for cleaning a thermal printing head having a plurality of heating elements arranged transversely to a direction in which an article to be recorded is conveyed, which comprises heating and softening deposits appearing in the vicinity of said heating elements, and conveying a sheet in the above direction while said sheet is kept in contact with said heating elements so that said softened deposits are moved downwardly in the above direction. Said sheet may be a stencil sheet, and preferably the heating elements are all turned on to heat and soften deposits, so as to make perforations for solid printing in said stencil sheet.

Method for cleaning thermal printing head

A bar code is formed of a number of parallel bars adapted to be provided circumferentially on a tubular or rod-like work and extend spirally about the center line of the work. In an alternative form, the bar code includes a number of parallel bars each adapted to extend continuously along the entire length of the work. In another alternative form, the bar code includes a number of parallel bars adapted to be provided on the surface of a belt-like work and each adapted to extend continuously along the entire length of the work.
