A lens apparatus includes a focus lens, a focus detector, an automatic focusing unit configured to drive the focus lens based on a focus detection result obtained from the focus detector, a focus information output unit configured to output focus information to a display unit capable of displaying the focus information superimposed on a picked up image obtained by picking up an image with use of a light beam from an object, which passes through the lens apparatus, and a display determination unit configured to determine whether or not to display the focus information on the display unit, in which the focus information output unit is configured to output a signal for displaying the focus information to the display unit based on a determination result obtained from the display determination unit.

A lens apparatus includes: a movable optical member; a driving unit that drives the movable optical member; an operating unit that operates the driving unit; a first controller that derives an input value for operating the driving unit based on an operation amount of the operating unit; a second controller that corrects the input value input from the first controller to calculate a control value and outputs the control value to the driving unit; and a deriving unit that derives a matching position from the control value. When an operation from the operating unit becomes effective, the deriving unit outputs the matching position to the first controller, and the first controller sets the matching position to the input value.

A sheet feeding apparatus of the invention comprises a conveying belt which is driven in such a direction as to send sheets, a belt or the like which is driven in the direction opposite to the belt conveying direction so as to apply a predetermined resistance force to the feeding of the sheets, and a frictional member adapted to be come into pressure contact with the conveying belt through the sheets. With the apparatus, the sheets can be certainly separated one by one irrespective of the material and thickness of the sheet.
