A control apparatus, for a system including a rotating machine having a stator, around which a winding wire is wound, and a power conversion circuit, includes: a superimposition device that superimposes multiple harmonic currents, for converting a first electromagnetic force to a second electromagnetic force, on a fundamental wave current, the first electromagnetic force being a second or higher order electromagnetic force as a reduction object, the second electromagnetic force being a second or higher order electromagnetic force and different from the first electromagnetic force, an order of each harmonic current being between the first electromagnetic force and the second electromagnetic force; and a manipulation device that operates the power conversion circuit to flow the fundamental wave current, on which the harmonic currents are superimposed, in the winding wire.

In a synchronous rotary machine such as a synchronous motor, respective values of the number of pole pairs of the rotor and the number of stator slots are predetermined such as to enable drive currents to be passed through the stator windings which suppress specific varying electromagnetic forces that act on the rotor and produce vibration. The drive current of each phase of the motor consists of a fundamental-frequency sinusoidal waveform current having specific harmonic-frequency currents superimposed thereon, the harmonic-frequency currents having angular velocities which are appropriate, with respect to the angular variation velocities of the specific varying electromagnetic forces, for suppressing these forces.

A control apparatus for a rotary electric machine includes: operating unit for operating a DC-AC conversion circuit including a switching element so as to control a controlled variable of the rotary electric machine, the switching element selectively connects positive and negative terminals of a DC power source to respective terminals of the rotary electric machine and conduction period setting unit, in response to a rotational speed of the rotary electric machine, for setting a conduction period during which the respective terminals of the rotary electric machine, and the positive and negative terminals of the DC power source are allowed to be electrically connected therebetween via the switching element. The conduction period setting unit set the conduction period as a manipulated variable so as to reduce electromagnetic force distortion at a frequency corresponding to a resonant frequency of the rotary electric machine.

According to the present invention, a cooling apparatus using boiling and condensing refrigerant, includes a fluid separating plate for separating a high-temperature fluid from a low-temperature fluid, a refrigerant tank disposed on the side of the high-temperature fluid from the fluid separating plate, a refrigerant sealed into the refrigerant tank, a pair of communication pipes, one end of which is communicated with the refrigerant tank hermetically, a condensing portion communicated with the other end of the communication pipes and disposed on the side of the low-temperature fluid from the fluid separating plate, and a heat insulating material as a high-temperature portion-side heat insulating material coated on the outer periphery of the high-temperature-side communication pipe. In this way, it is possible to suppress a heat conduction from a high-temperature portion (high-temperature air) to the high-temperature-side communication pipe. As a result, it is possible to prevent the descending refrigerant which has been condensed and liquefied in the radiator from receiving heat from the high-temperature portion through the high-temperature-side communication pipe to receive an ascending force in the high-temperature-side communication pipe.
