To enable observation of the operating site to be continued more easily in the case in which the picture of the operating site is no longer displayed normally. Provided is a surgical microscope device including: a microscope unit that images an observation target, and outputs a picture signal; a support unit that supports the microscope unit, and is configured as a balance arm; and an auxiliary observation device that is attachable to the microscope unit or the support unit, and is configured to enable observation of an observation range provided by the microscope unit.

Provided is a sterile drape configured to cover a medical observation apparatus to keep the medical observation apparatus sterile, the medical observation apparatus including a microscope part configured to magnify and image a microfine site of an observation object, an input part configured to receive an input of an operation instruction to the microscope part, and a grip part having a bar shape and having a surface provided with at least a portion of the input part, the sterile drape including: an attaching part configured to be fixed and attached to the grip part in a state where the sterile drape covers the medical observation apparatus.

Sterile drape

An imaging and displaying system comprises an imaging unit for acquiring images of a treatment site of a subject, a display unit for displaying the images acquired by the imaging unit, and a unit-to-unit connecting device for detachably connecting the imaging unit and the display unit. The imaging unit and the display unit are spatially and movably supported. At least one of the imaging unit and the display unit is detachably attached to an arm with a unit-to-arm detachable device therebetween.

A surgical observation system provided with a supporting arm movable in the three-dimensional direction includes an endoscope objective unit having a tubular insertion section and provided with objective optical systems, a microscope objective unit provided with objective optical systems having a focusing optical system and variable magnification optical systems, and a mounting and dismounting section provided in the supporting arm, mountable and dismountable with respect to the objective units by having interchangeability. The objective optical systems provided in each of the objective units are constructed so that light beams emerging therefrom toward the mounting and dismounting section are changed to afocal light beams, and the mounting and dismounting section is provided with a pair of imaging lenses and a pair of image sensors and is constructed so that, in a state where the objective unit is mounted to the mounting and dismounting section, the objective unit is optically connected with the mounting and dismounting section.

Surgical observation system

A stereoscopic image shooting and display system has a left-right pair of image pickup sections having a left-right pair of optical systems with a parallax, and an image processing section which performs predetermined image processing on left and right images picked up through the left-right pair of image pickup sections and parallactically different from each other, and which outputs the processed images to a display section to display the images as a stereoscopic image. When a region corresponding to a region difficult for an observer to observe is detected, the image pickup sections or the image processing section is controlled so that the region becomes easy-to-observe state.

Stereoscopic image shooting and display system

An image observation apparatus comprising an image display unit for displaying an observation image and a supporting mechanism for supporting the image display unit movably and adjustably in the directions of three, substantially perpendicular axes. Since the supporting mechanism of this image observation apparatus can move and adjust the image display unit in three orthogonal axial directions, an operator need not select a plurality of articulates for operating them when he/she wants to move the image display unit to a desired axial direction. Further, one of the three axes can be a rotational axis for turnably supporting the image display unit around the operator. According to this configuration, the image display unit can be independently moved and adjusted in three axial directions, while the observation angle of the observer with respect to the display face of the image display unit is kept constant.

Image observation apparatus

A stereoscopic observation system includes a stereoscopic image pick up apparatus to pick up left and right images at an inward angle, a stereoscopic image display apparatus to transmit the left and right images picked up by the stereoscopic image pick up apparatus to an observer so that the images are stereoscopically observed at a convergence angle, a convergence angle change portion provided in the stereoscopic image display apparatus and to change the convergence angle, a recognition portion to recognize the stereoscopic image pick up apparatus, and a control portion to control the convergence angle change portion on the basis of the result of the recognition in the recognition portion so that the convergence angle is substantially equal to the inward angle.

An operating microscope includes a base set on a floor surface, a post held for rotation around a vertical rotation axis with respect to the base, a horizontal motion arm held for rotation around a first horizontal rotation axis with respect to the post, a vertical motion arm held for rotation around a second horizontal rotation axis with respect to the horizontal motion arm, a lens barrel portion supported by the vertical motion arm, an elastic member which is provided between the post and the horizontal motion arm and cancels an angular moment around the horizontal motion arm, a fulcrum which is provided on the horizontal motion arm and receives a force from the elastic member, and a fulcrum moving mechanism configured to shift the position of the fulcrum in a direction substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the horizontal motion arm.

Operating microscope having an arm frame

There is provided a surgical microscope having a horizontal movement arm portion which moves a microscope portion in a substantially horizontal direction, and a vertical movement arm portion which moves the microscope portion in a substantially vertical direction. A first elastic force generation mechanism connected with a base bottom portion and the horizontal movement arm portion generates an elastic force which offsets a rotation moment around a first horizontal rotation axis produced when the horizontal movement arm portion revolves around the first horizontal rotation axis arranged in the base bottom portion. Further, a second elastic force generation mechanism connected with the base bottom portion and the vertical movement arm portion generates an elastic force which offsets a rotation moment around a second horizontal rotation axis produced when the vertical movement arm portion revolves around the second horizontal rotation axis arranged in the horizontal movement arm portion.

Surgical microscope

A general-light observation light image can be obtained by illuminating the polarized frame sequence light or polarized white light, for example. In addition, a parallel polarized component and a vertical polarized component with respect to a polarizing direction of illuminating light, which is polarized in a specific direction are captured. Then, image data, which is a difference between both of the polarized component is calculated and is displayed in a display device. Thus, a scattered light component in a living-body tissue surface side can be extracted with good S/N, which can improve the diagnosis functionality.

Endoscope apparatus

A surgical microscope apparatus incorporating a frame portion placed on a floor, a microscope body for stereoscopically observing a portion to be operated, an arm portion supported by the frame portion and arranged to suspend the microscope body, and an endoscope for observing a blind spot for a stereoscopic observation field of view. The frame portion has a light source unit for generating light for illuminating a portion observed with the endoscope and a camera control unit for processing an observed image of an observed portion obtained by the endoscope. A light guide fiber extending from the light source unit to the microscope body and capable of supplying light to the endoscope, and a camera cable for transmitting the image observed with the endoscope to the camera control unit extend in the arm portion. The microscope body is provided with an end of the light guide fiber for connecting the endoscope and a camera head connected to the camera cable.

A surgical microscope includes an illumination optical system for illuminating a microscope visual field, an observation optical system which has an eyepiece lens and an imaging lens and allows observation of a first image of an observation target by guiding reflected light from the observation target irradiated with illumination light to the eyepiece lens from the illumination optical system, an image projection optical system for projecting a second image as image information within a portion of the microscope visual field, and visual field adjusting mechanism which has a field stop placed at an imaging position of the imaging lens and having a changeable stop shape and adjusts an area of the microscope visual field by changing the stop shape of the field stop in accordance with a projection state of the second image with respect to the microscope visual field.

An operating microscope includes a base and a support coupled to the base. An arm has a proximal end portion rotatably and/or vertically movably coupled to the support, and a distal end portion. At least the distal end portion is formed of a non-magnetic material. A microscope portion is coupled to the distal end portion of the arm and includes a stereoscopic optical system for forming an image of an observed part. The microscope portion is formed of a non-magnetic material. The operating microscope also includes a power system for operating the microscope portion or a part thereof, and an operation instructing portion for instructing the power system to operate. The power system includes a power generating portion for generating a pressure change or a positional change; a power output portion, formed of a non-magnetic material, for converting the pressure change or the positional change of the power generating portion into a power for operating the microscope portion and a part thereof; and a power transmitting mechanism for transmitting the pressure change and the positional change from the power generating portion to the power output portion. The power transmitting mechanism is formed of a non-magnetic material at least near the power output portion.
