A slide type electronic apparatus which can prevent internal structure such as a slide mechanism from being visually recognized from a gap between two cases and suppress dirt, dust and the like invading from the gap is provided. The coupler includes a first pin hole which penetrates the strap holder, a second pin hole formed on the hinge section, a groove formed on an outer surface of the hinge section, and a pin. The groove is provided with a first region whereupon one end of the second pin hole opens, and a second region continued to the first region. A first portion of the pin extends through the first and second pin holes, and a second portion of the pin is arranged in the second region in the groove. A cover is removably attached to the case to cover the groove.

Composite molded product for use as a button for electric devices and method of manufacturing the same

There is disclosed a construction in which the shaking of a cutting carriage due to a clearance is prevented, thereby enhancing cutting precision. The cutting carriage includes at least one rotary blade for cutting a sheet, and a pair of opposed driven rotary members held respectively against obverse and reverse surfaces of a guide track member, said pair of driven rotary members being rotated in accordance with the movement of the cutting carriage along said guide track member. The cutting carriage for sheet cutting can include a pair of rotary blades which are forcibly rotated respectively by the pair of driven rotary members when these driven rotary members are rotated. Preferably, the pair of rotary blades are held in press-contact with each other at a toe-in angle. A sheet cutter of the invention includes the guide track member having a flat plate portion extending in a direction of a cutting width, and the carriage guided by this guide track member, and a moving device, such as a screw and a wire, for moving the cutting carriage. Preferably, the obverse surface of the flat plate portion serves as a surface for supporting the sheet thereon, and also serves as a travel surface for one of the pair of driven rotary members. The sheet is held between the flat plate portion and the one driven rotary member during the movement of the cutting carriage.

A composite button of an electrical device has a frame body (1) with a through bore that terminates at openings, and a button portion (2) with a pressing portion (3) extended through the through bore and a flange portion (4) fused to the frame body (1). A silicone resin layer (5, 24) is interposed between the frame body and the flange portion, and surrounds one of the openings. A method of manufacturing a composite button of an electrical device by molding a frame body, forming a silicone resin layer on a surface of the frame body, and simultaneously molding a button portion to a predetermined shape while fusion boding areas of the button portion contacting the frame body.

Method of making a composite button of an electrical device

It is a folding data communication device having a structure where a slot insertion section (2) to be inserted into an expansion slot of an information processing device is rotatably coupled to a body (3), and performing transmission or receiving of data through radio communication alone or by connecting to the information processing device. The slot insertion section (2) comprises an PC card section (5) and an interface connector (13). The body (3) is provided with a housing (4) for housing the slot insertion section. The housing (4) is formed with a connector protection cover (6) contacting and protecting the interface connector (13) when the slot insertion section is folded. The connector protection cover (6) is formed with an elastic conductive material on its surface. With such arrangement, the folding data communication device can effectively prevent damage of the PC card section (5) and the interface connector (13), and also is improved for its operability and portability.
