Disclosed herein is an image generation device including: a space construction section that constructs a virtual world to be displayed on a head-mounted display; an image generation section that generates, based on a position and a posture of a head of a player wearing the head-mounted display, a display image representing the virtual world in a field of view corresponding to a point of view of the player, and causes the head-mounted display to display the generated display image; and a visitor information acquisition section that acquires information regarding presence of a visitor without a head-mounted display in a space where the player is able to move. While the visitor is present, the space construction section displays an object indicating the presence of the visitor at a corresponding position in the virtual world.

In an image generation apparatus, a viewpoint information acquisition section acquires information regarding a viewpoint of a user wearing a head-mounted display. A real space information acquisition section acquires information regarding a real space where the user and an information provider are present. A viewpoint control section moves the viewpoint in display from a user's viewpoint to another person's viewpoint including an object present in the real space in a field of view. An image generation section generates an image relative to the determined viewpoint and outputs the image from an output section.

When the viewpoint is switched, the visual line is controlled such that the position indicated by a tag for a same subject is included within the visual field before and after the switching. The present disclosure relates to a signal processing circuit and an imaging apparatus by which a plurality of images including an overlapping region can be accurately stitched. Stitching (projective transformation and warping) is performed on direct-transformation region images on the basis of camera initial condition information (information on directions of camera modules) stored in an EEPROM. Stitching is performed on overlapping-region images under the determined composition condition. Stitching is performed on buffer region images by the use of a value (e.g., moderate value) determined on the basis of a projective transformation condition of the direct-transformation region images and a projective transformation condition of the overlapping-region images. The present disclosure is applicable to, for example, a signal processing circuit used in an imaging apparatus such as a camera.
