The present invention relates to a bottle which is formed of a synthetic resin material into a cylindrical shape with a bottom. A bottom wall portion of a bottom of the bottle includes: a ground contact portion; a rising peripheral wall portion; a ring-shaped movable wall portion; and a depressed peripheral wall portion. The movable wall portion is rotatably disposed about a connecting part with the rising peripheral wall portion so as to move the depressed peripheral wall portion upward, and a concave and convex portion is formed over an entire circumference of the rising peripheral wall portion.

Synthetic resin bottle

Pinhole detection is achieved when pinholes happen to develop near stoppers used to fit a handle. A biaxially drawn synthetic resin bottle has a recessed portion, and a synthetic resin handle, fitted in an undercut engagement to the recessed portion by insert molding. The handle comprises upper and lower fitting arms disposed at a grip in a vertically long plate shape. Both arms extend forward from the grip. A stopper extends upward from a front end of the upper fitting arm, and a stopper extends upward and/or downward from a front end of the lower fitting arm. A ridge or groove is formed extending rearward of a stopper of either arm, along a top surface of the upper fitting arm or along a top surface and/or an underside surface of the lower fitting arm. A connecting passage for air release is formed along the ridge/groove.

Synthetic resin bottle with a handle

This invention is aimed at material saving and cost reduction. A technical problem to be solved by the invention is to provide a light-weight Y-shaped handle without impairing injection moldability and the functions of the handle. The principal means of solving the above-described technical problem is an injection molded handle used by being fitted and secured firmly to a rear portion of a body of a synthetic resin bottle by an insert molding method. The handle comprises a pair of fitting bent beams disposed in parallel in an upright posture and fitted by an undercut engagement to a rear portion of a body of a bottle, a grip plate in a vertical and long rectangular shape disposed between the pair of the fitting bent beams, and a circular gate area disposed at a center of the grip plate, wherein the thickness of the grip plate is reduced on both sides thereof in a certain height range to form thin plate portions, while leaving, as thick portions, a near-gate area including and surrounding the gate area in a concentric manner and vertical slip portions extending up- and downward from the near-gate area.

Synthetic resin handle for use with a bottle

A biaxially drawn and blow-molded bottle made of synthetic resin with a handle, the handle is injection-molded, made of a synthetic resin and fitted firmly to the bottle, the bottle also has a recession with a projecting wall in a central part of the recession, and the handle has a pair of beams parallel to each other and on opposite sides of the projecting wall and a grip plate integrally connected between the pair of beams, the beams also have embedded ridges disposed centrally along an axis of each beam wherein the embedded ridges extend from the pair of beams to engage the recession and the projecting wall, and the embedded ridges each have a central plane approximately perpendicular to the axis of the beam on which the embedded ridges are disposed and the embedded ridges become wider along the plane as they extend away from the beams.

A synthetic resin bottle has a grip assembled and fixed in an upright orientation to the center part of a concave region at the ear portion of a substantially cylindrical trunk portion of the bottle main body. A shoulder portion in the bottle main body has a lower circumferential wall with a truncated pyramid shape defined by a plurality of panels. A right/left center axis of a rear surface panel is placed at substantially at the center of the rear surface of the bottle main body. A center portion of each of the panels is formed as a protrusion having a convex shape gradually bulging outwards of the bottle main body.

Synthetic resin bottle with grip

A synthetic resin bottle with a handle of this invention comprises a biaxially drawn and blow-molded PET bottle and a handle, an injection-molded product of the same PET resin, which is fitted firmly to the bottle as an insert. The up-and-down property of the surfaces of the handle inserts, which come in contact with the PET bottle, is adjusted in response to the softening and drawing state of the PET preform that is deformed and molded into the bottle. This adjustment causes the friction resistance to be reduced between the handle inserts and the blow-molded PET bottle. The finely textured up-and-down pattern can be easily formed through the tests and adjustments by the surface treatment inside the mold cavity used for the injection molding of the handle. Thus, the optimum surface properties can be obtained in response to the bottle sizes and the handle shapes. Therefore, this invention requires no separate process, such as thermal crystallization. Bottles, which fully get around the handle inserts, have high fitting strength but no abrasion, can be provided at a low cost.
