A multilayer structure includes a resin layer, and a glass layer laminated on the resin layer via an adhesive layer, wherein a thickness of the glass layer is 10 μm or more and 300 μm or less, and an arithmetic mean waviness Wa of an interface of the resin layer and the adhesive layer is 10 μm or less.

Multilayer structure

A multi-layer structure includes a glass layer having a thickness of greater than or equal to 10 μm and less than or equal to 200 μm; and a resin layer. A number of unit lamination structures in a thickness direction of the multi-layer structure is greater than or equal to 5 and less than or equal to 20,000, the unit lamination structure being a lamination structure composed of the glass layer and the resin layer.

Multi-layer structure

Provided is a glass film-resin composite which makes it possible to obtain a long-length (e.g., 500 m or more-long) glass roll. The glass film-resin composite comprises a glass film, and a resin tape laminated to at least one surface of the glass film through an adhesive, wherein the width l (mm) of the resin tape satisfies the following formula (1). (where: a represents a reinforcement coefficient (mm*(μm)) which is 1.10 or more; Eg represents the Young's modulus (GPa) of the glass film; Ep represents the Young's modulus (GPa) of the resin tape; tg represents the thickness (μm) of the glass film; and tp represents the thickness (μm) of the resin tape.).

Glass film-resin composite

Provided is an optical laminate in which optical defects is less likely to occur when used in an optical device such as a display. A laminate () includes a flexible glass film () having a thickness of 150 μm or less and a resin film () laminated on the glass film with an adhesive layer () interposed therebetween. The number of contaminants having a size of 100 μm or more in the adhesive layer is preferably 10/mor less. When the contaminants protrude from the surface of the adhesive layer (), the height and inclination angle of protrusions is preferably small.

Optical laminate with glass film and resin film

Provided is a thin glass laminate, which is prevented from being broken by bending of a thin glass, and which is excellent in bending durability. The thin glass laminate of the present invention includes a resin film and a thin glass arranged at least on the resin film, wherein the thin glass has a thickness of from 30 μm to 150 μm, and wherein at least part of an end surface of the thin glass is formed of an inclined surface extending downward and outward and/or a curved surface. In one embodiment, at an upper end of the thin glass, at least part of the end surface is formed of the inclined surface extending downward and outward or the curved surface.

Thin glass laminated body

Provided is a sensor device in which the sensitivity of a strain sensor is hardly inhibited despite the fact that a glass material is used as a protective material, and in which the glass material hardly breaks. The sensor device of the present invention includes: an optical laminate including a glass film, an adhesive layer, a resin layer, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer in the stated order; and a strain-sensing unit, wherein the glass film has a thickness of from 20 μm to 150 μm. In one embodiment, the strain-sensing unit is arranged on a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer side of the optical laminate.

Sensor device

Provided is a glass film-resin composite, which prevents the breakage of a glass film and enables the production of an elongated glass film. The glass film-resin composite of the present invention includes: an elongated glass film; a resin tape, which is arranged on at least one surface of the elongated glass film and is linearly arranged at least near each of both ends in a widthwise direction of the elongated glass film in one surface of the elongated glass film; a protective layer, which is arranged near each of both the ends in the widthwise direction of the surface of the elongated glass film having arranged thereon the resin tape and on an outside of the resin tape in the widthwise direction; and a resin layer arranged on one surface of the elongated glass film.

A method of manufacturing a glass resin laminated body includes a step of sticking a glass film on a resin film via an adhesive layer while holding the glass film and the resin film between a first roller that presses against the resin film and a second roller that is disposed opposite to the first roller and that presses against the glass film. A ratio of an elastic modulus Pof a surface layer of the first roller to an elastic modulus Pof the resin film P/Psatisfies a relation of 3×10≤P/P≤1.0.

Provided is a method comprises: continuously forming an elongated, glass film having marginal portions from molten glass into a given shape having two marginal portions, in width-directional opposite edge regions thereof, wherein the glass film having marginal portions has the marginal portions, and an effective portion formed in a width-directional central region of the glass film having marginal portions; annealing the glass film having marginal portions; continuously forming resin tapes on the glass film having marginal portions at positions adjacent to and away by a given distance from the respective marginal portions, to extend in a length direction of the glass film having marginal portions; and continuously removing each of the marginal portions from the glass film having marginal portions, along a position between the marginal portion and a corresponding one of the resin tapes, or at a given width-directional position within the corresponding resin tape.

Manufacturing method for glass film with resin tape, and manufacturing method for glass film

Provided is a glass film-resin composite body which makes it possible to obtain a long-length (e.g., 500 m or more-long) glass roll. The glass roll with resin film comprises a glass film, and a resin film laminated to at least one surface of the glass film through an adhesive, wherein a creep amount a of the adhesive is 50 μm or less, as measured after applying a tensile shear load per unit area of the adhesive of 5 g/mm, to the resin film for 48 hours, in a state in which the glass film is fixed in 23° C. and 50% RH.

Glass roll with resin film

A method of conveying a glass film composite uses a roll-to-roll process for winding a glass film composite wound on a feed roller by a winding roller through a plurality of conveyance rollers. The glass film composite includes an elongated glass film, and linear resin tapes disposed on one side of the glass film along a longitudinal direction of the glass film at both ends in a width direction of the glass film. The method includes a step of conveying the glass film composite from the feed roller to the winding roller through the plurality of conveyance rollers without passing a state in which the glass film composite is bent so that the resin tapes are directed to the inside.

A laminate for an image display apparatus of the present invention includes: a glass film; and a resin layer arranged on one side of the glass film, wherein the glass film has a thickness of more than 50 &#x3bc;m and 150 &#x3bc;m or less, wherein the laminate for an image display apparatus has a puncture strength measured in conformity with JIS Z 1707:1997 of more than 2 kg and 50 kg or less, and wherein the laminate for an image display apparatus has a bending radius of from 15 mm to 200 mm.

Provided is a production method for a film laminate by which a tough film can be bonded to a brittle film while the breakage of the brittle film is prevented. The production method for a film laminate of the present invention includes bonding a tough film having an elongated shape to a brittle film having an elongated shape while conveying the brittle film, wherein the method includes bonding the tough film and the brittle film to each other by bringing the tough film close to the brittle film, followed by blowing of a gas from a side of the tough film opposite to the brittle film.

Production method for film laminate

Provided is a method of manufacturing a laminated film, the method including laminating a glass film and a resin film via an adhesive layer, by which peeling between the glass film and the resin film is prevented, and hence a laminated film excellent in appearance can be obtained. The method of manufacturing a laminated film of the present invention includes the steps of: laminating a glass film and a resin film via an adhesive to provide a precursor laminate; and curing the adhesive by applying an active energy ray to the precursor laminate, wherein the curing step includes nonuniformly applying the active energy ray in a surface of the precursor laminate.
