A current detecting device has: a bus bar through which a current under measurement flows; a fastening member for fastening an external member to the bus bar; a chassis formed integrally with the bus bar and a shield, the chassis holding the bus bar and fastening member in a mutual contact state; and a magnetic sensor placed so as to face the bus bar, the magnetic sensor being capable of detecting a magnetic field generated when the current under measurement flows through the bus bar. The bus bar has a fastening terminal portion on the same side as an end of the bus bar, the fastening terminal portion being in contact with the external member. A connection surface is provided so as to be exposed from the chassis, the connection surface being a surface through which the fastening terminal portion is brought into contact with the external member.

Current detecting device

A variable resistor according to the present invention includes a substrate, a resistive element disposed on a first surface of the substrate, oil that coats an upper surface of the resistive element, and a slide member that slides on the upper surface of the resistive element coated with the oil, wherein an output of the variable registor changes as a position at which the slide member makes contact with the resistive element changes. The variable resistor further includes an oil repellent part that surrounds at least a part of the resistive element in plan view viewed from above the first surface of the substrate, the oil repellant part having surface free energy smaller than that of the resistive element, whereby oil can be stably held on a resistive element surface without forming irregularities on the resistive element surface.

Fixed conductive plates are buried in a case. In its internal space, a first contact surface, which is part of each fixed conductive plate, and a second contact surface, which is an inner surface of the case, are opposite to each other, and an elastic conductive plate is interposed in this opposing portion. The elastic conductive plate is structured so that, in a restricting portion, a support piece portion is fitted to the thin plate portion of the fixed conductive plate and that an elastic arm portion extends from the support piece portion.

A wiper holder to which a wiper is attached has an attachment surface including a positioning boss configured to position the wiper by being passed through a positioning hole in the wiper, a positioning protrusion configured to position a first edge of the wiper, and a swage boss configured to receive a second edge of the wiper. The first edge of the wiper contacts the positioning protrusion to position the first edge of the wiper and the wiper is secured to the wiper holder by the swage boss being swaged while the positioning boss is passed through the positioning hole in the wiper and the second edge of the wiper being received by the swage boss.

An injection-molded body according to the present invention includes a tubular body portion, an airtight seal surface formed on a peripheral surface of the body portion near one end of the body portion, and a plurality of undercuts disposed at positions around the peripheral surface of the body portion that are closer to the end than the airtight seal surface is. The undercuts prevent a seal member mounted on the airtight seal surface from falling off, in which a clearance is formed between a peripheral wall and the undercuts. The peripheral wall defines an inner hole of the body portion, and the clearance accommodates deformation of the undercuts in radial directions.

In a handy type image scanner, information of an original is observed through an window formed on a case of the image scanner. The handy type image scanner includes a case which encloses a light source for illuminating an original, a reflecting mirror for conducting light reflected from the original to a predetermined direction, and an image sensor for receiving the light from the reflecting mirror so as to input information of the illuminated original. The case includes an upper surface which has a window for observing the information displayed on the original which is being optically read out by the image sensor.

An X-Y direction input device used, for example, in a graphic display apparatus includes some members enclosed in a casing and requiring electrical connection to each other. The casing is divided into upper and lower cases one of which has some chamber defining walls or ribs and the other has associated projections or pins, so as to accept the members previously connected physically, electrically to each other in the respective chambers and suppressingly support them in the chambers by the projections or pins.

X-Y direction input device

A position input device for a computer system, commonly referred to as a 'mouse', has a resilient cushion attached to the bottom of its casing and a high-durability, low-friction slide sheet attached to the bottom of the cushion resulting in a device which easily slides on a desktop surface, resists wearing down, and does not generate noise when slid.

An X-Y input device comprises a position sensor, a switch for use in signal processing of the position sensor, and a switch lever actuatable by pressing by the finger the outwardly-projecting key portion to operate the switch to become closed and opened, and a case consisting of a bottom plate and a cap mounted thereon and adapted to hold the switch and switch lever. The input device further comprises posts on the bottom plate, each post supporting the associated switch lever at an intermediate site between the key portion at one end of the switch lever and the abutment portion for abutting against the undersurface of the top wall of the cap at the other end, so that the switch lever can be resiliently flexed by pressing the key portion. These features of the invention enables reaction of the key portion to finger's pressure to remain constant and makes installation of the switch lever simpler.

X-Y input device

An X-Y input device comprises a rotatable ball, a first driven roller held in contact with the rotatable ball and rotatable in response to rotation of the rotatable ball, a second driven roller held in contact with the rotatable ball and rotatable in response to rotation of the rotatable ball, the second driven roller having an axis of rotation extending substantially perpendicularly to that of the first driven roller, first rotation detector means for detecting an amount of rotation of the first driven roller, and second rotation detector means for detecting an amount of rotation of the second driven roller. The X-Y input device also includes means for imposing frictional forces between the ball and the driven rollers, stop means for stopping operation of the rotation detector means and blocking rotation of the driven rollers when the operation of the rotation detector means reaches predetermined limits, and power release means for reducing power transmitted from the ball to the rotation detector means when the operation of the rotation detector means reaches the limits.

An X-Y input device known as a 'mouse' includes at least one switch lever having a control end exposed through an upper case and an opposite end staked on the upper case. An annular holder for the rotatable ball of the mouse is secured to a lower case and the switch lever has a portion close to the staked end held between the upper case and the annular holder.

An X-Y input device comprises a rotatable ball, a first driven roller held in contact with the rotatable ball and rotatable in response to rotation of the rotatable ball, a second driven roller held in contact with the rotatable ball and rotatable in response to rotation of the rotatable ball, the second driven roller having an axis of rotation extending substantially perpendicularly to that of the first driven roller, first angle detector means for detecting an angle of rotation of the first driven roller, second angle detector means for detecting an angle of rotation of the second driven roller, and a sole biasing rotatable body positioned in confronting relation to the first and second driven rollers for resiliently biasing the rotatable ball against the first and second driven rollers. The biasing rotatable body is held in contact with the rotatable ball at a point which is joined to a center of rotation of the rotatable ball by a straight line passing centrally between the first and second driven rollers.
